Joey's POV
I was sitting on a bench waiting for my plane to board. I'm almost in tears for two reasons. One, I'm leaving the person I love with all my hart. Two, I'm getting on a fucking plane!
A tear slipped down my cheek and I quickly wiped it away. I did that to every tear that slipped down my cheek.
"Why are you crying?" I looked up to see a little girl who was probably about 5. I smiled at her. "There tears of joy." I said lying threw my teeth. It's for her sake. The little girl smiled then trotted away towards her mother.
"Flight 142 to Kansas is now boarding." Someone said over the speakers. A couple more tears slipped down my cheeks. I quickly wiped them away again. Then I picked my bag up off the ground.
'You can do this.' I said to my self. 'You have to for Michael's sake.'
The more I thought about Michael the more tears escaped my eyes. I took one shaky step after another making my way to the flight attendant that took the tickets.
"JOEY!" I still can hear his voice. His sweet voice.
"Joey! Stop! Don't go!" Someone grabbed my shoulder turning me around. Michael stood there with tears in his eyes.
Michael's POV
I ran and ran. All I was looking for what a girl with blood red curly hair. "Joey!" I yelled. My thoughts were every were. Then I seen her.
Joey bent over to grab her bag. When she stood up I seen her face. Tear stained cheeks, puffy red eyes, and a frown on her face. Tears were in my eyes as I ran yelling for her to stop.
I grabbed her shoulder and turned her around making her turn and face me. Her beautiful blue eyes full of tears looked into mine. I had to hold her. I pulled her into a tight hug, surprising me when she hugged me back. "Don't leave, please." I whispered.
Her tears dripped onto my shirt. "I have to." She said back with her voice cracking at the end.
I pulled back so I could look into her eyes. "No, no you don't. I need you to stay. If you leave I'll be nothing." I spoke in a serious but sad tone.
"You need to live your dream, a child will just hold you back."
"You are my dream, Joey. I have loved you since we were teenagers. I remember the day I met you, you had a fucking pot on your head. Ever since then I knew I loved you."
I remember the day I met Joey. I remember it like it happened yesterday. I was in 7th grade.
*Flashback*
"Hey Michael! Want to come hang out at my house?" Ashton asked me after we got out of class at the end of the day.
"Hell yah!" I said excitedly.
We made our way to his house. As we were walking he talked about his annoying little sister, Joey and her friend that was coming over. The way he described his sister made her sound really annoying.
Once we got there Ashton knocked on the door and a sweet little voice shouted "what's the password!" Then there was a little giggle.
Ashton sighed then grumbled "Ashton sucks monkey butt."
"What was that?" She asked.
"Open the door or I'll tell mom you locked me out!" He yelled.
The door suddenly opened to a little girl with crazy, curly blood red hair, piercing blue eyes, and she had a pot on her head. Her friend stood behind her. They had fake guns in their hands making sounds trying to sound like gun shots.
