Seven Monsters (BTS x Reader)

Eight: New Home

 "Open your eyes Y/N."

You did so and peek over his shoulder. You were in the middle of your old city and you have no idea how long Hoseok was running. But you did notice the sun was slowly rising over the horizon. He sets you down and he quickly pulls up your hood over your head. "Don't even think about going for help, I'll be right by your side."

"What's the point," you grumble, fixing your hood. "You killed my brother and best friend, you got what you wanted. You have me."

"Physically we have you," Hoseok said, frowning. "But your heart, we do not have."

"Well tell that buff daddy guy he can have my heart and put it in a jar."

"Buff daddy guy? And must you take everything literally?"

You just shrug your shoulders and Hoseok holds your hand, making you shiver. "Fuck are all vampire's this cold," you curse.

"We are technically dead, blood keeps our bodies functioning. Now come on." You just let Hoseok drag you around the city. People are giving you weird side eye looks because you smell so bad. A bit embarrassed, you just pull the hood tighter to keep your face covered. Sooner or later you two walk in a small neighborhood, making you look at Hoseok confused.

"Where are we?"

Hoseok stands in front of a light blue, two story house. "We're here to show you Nathan is still alive." Confused, Hoseok takes you to the side of a house and you both peer into a window.

Nathan!

You went to scream his name but Hoseok covers your mouth.

"Don't," he hisses. "Just watch."

You shrug him off, shooting him an irritated look and gaze back into the window. Nathan is playing with a bunch of toys and soon giggles when a dog comes up to him. The two play and an older couple comes in the room, both having mugs. They take a seat on the sofa and watch Nathan play with a dog.

"Mom! Dad! Sam is chewing on my toys!" Nate whines.

'Mom? Dad?'

Your shoulders slowly sag as Hoseok sighs beside you. "To keep your brother safe and to give him a normal life, we erased his memories of you and anything in his old life. It took a while to pull this off, but he's going to be okay I promise. We made sure these are good people for him to adopt, stalked them for days just to see if they had hidden evil in their hearts."

Hoseok watches your eyes slowly blink as you process this scene in your mind.

"Y/N?"

"Can we get a cup of coffee?"

Hoseok is surprised as you turn and walk away. Hoseok glance back into the living room window and also walks away.

Nathan has a new home....

"What...what are those people like?"

Hoseok takes a sip of his black coffee and sets it down as you look nervous. "Good people, couldn't have their own baby so they were planning to adopt. Father is a nurse and mother is a data analyst, so she's at least home with Nate all the time."

You slowly nod and grip the cup in front of you. "What happened to Mike? He looked pretty beaten up for that to be swept under the rug." Hoseok can hear the accusing tone in her voice and he couldn't even be mad at her for that.
