Nine: No Choice

"Are you really up and awake for only sleeping for two hours?"

"Technically one hour," you answer.

Hoseok's eyes widen as you simply take a sip of your coffee. The two of you are sitting at the island in the kitchen. Him drinking his blood, you having a cup of coffee. "Hang on you went to bed at four a.m and woke up at five a.? I thought humans need to sleep for eight hours."

"And some humans get less sleep then that, we're lucky if we get eight hours of sleep," you said, giggling. "Though you have to be careful with that, little to no sleep can be detrimental to our health."

"You slept for one hour?!"

You two look up to see Jimin, looking surprised. "How are humans able to function like that?" he mumbles, fascinated. You simply shrug your shoulders. "Don't count on me being awake for long, pretty sure by noon I'll be taking a power nap, so I should be asleep soon." Jimin takes a seat at the kitchen island in front of you.

"Mm, I bet, so what made you stay up so late?"

"Wish I could say up late studying, but nope I was up late talking to Hoseokie."

"Hoseokie?" Hoseok asked, brows raised.

"S-Sorry it slipped out-."

"No it's okay, Hoseokie...I like it." Jimin can feel his insides burn at the jealousy that Hoseok gets a nickname before he does. Whatever you two talked about last night, it brought you closer together.

"So Y/N, what are your interests? Favorite shows and whatnot?" Jimin asked, leaning forward. Like you're the most interesting person in the world.

"No offense, but by how you guys kidnapped me I would assume you know. Wait scratch that full on offensive, so that means you stalked me enough to know what I would like right?"

"We didn't pry information like that, well except the Crime cases you watched on Youtube," Jimin said, shrugging his shoulders. "We wanted to get to know you by well talking to you."

You smile then feel your heart flutter.

Even skipping a beat, which makes you frown in confusion.

What's wrong with your heart? It skipped a beat what the hell? You might need to see a doctor for this.

"Well...as a kid I loved zombies so much, but I had to stop watching due to night terrors I would get. But I love video games too, though I haven't had the time to play since college took up most of my time."
