The Origin: 'Family'

"Shut up." Mikael deadpans. "Everything happened already. You don't have to push him about it, nothing can be done anyway. Please just leave." He says, glaring at the two girls. (Chapter 24)

Shinoa was stunned, and Mitsuba was speechless when 'Mikaela' interrupted them. He sent a cold icy glare in their direction, and just then, the two of them inspects Yuuichiro carefully.

He was shaking, and not looking up one bit. Mitsuba's eyes widen in realization, and she was about to reach for Yuuichiro when Shinoa held her shoulder. 'Mikaela' narrowed his eyes, and when Mitsuba turned to look at Shinoa, the lilac haired girl shook her head gently, lips in a straight line with guilt evident in her eyes.

They wordlessly walked out of Yuuichiro's house after a short while of silence, Mitsuba spoke. "I can't do this anymore." The blonde croaked out. Shinoa looked at her with concern, before her own petite lips quivered.

"I am sorry. But we can't do anything unless that guy- that monster gets what he wants." Shinoa verbalized, her voice stern. Her tone was laced with anger. Mitsuba sobbed, and Shinoa's eyes soften. She pulled the blonde to the nearest bus station and hugged her, stroking Mitsuba's back.

"We have to save him." The blonde girl whimpered. "It's our fault. If we never make a deal with Mikaela, this all won't happen." Mitsuba said. Shinoa was not able to retort to her. She clenched her fist, and bit her lower lip.

When Mitsuba received absolutely no retort from the lilac haired, she shouted. "Do you not pity him?! That fucking task makes him cry! Shinoa, Yuuichiro cried!"

Yuuichiro had always been so tough. He never cried before. But after Mikaela entered his life, though subconsciously, everything went south. Shinoa gulped, and the image of Yuuichiro's hurt expression burned inside his mind. The face Yuuichiro made when they laughed him off when he said that he had a stalker. (Prologue)

"I know. But we can't do anything. We are all too deep in this. He has his own plan to keep us away further, and the starting point is when we starts leaving Yuuichiro out because of his order. If he can't get Yuuichiro, he will find a way so we can't get him too." Shinoa voiced in a monotone. She wanted everything to be the way it used to be. But they couldn't, not when Mikaela is around Yuuichiro.

"What is wrong with you?!" Mitsuba cried out, holding Shinoa's shoulder tightly. "I don't care if Yuu hates us even after Mikaela is out of his life, i just want him safe." She sternly claimed. The guilt was eating her alive. It looked like it was not a big deal at first. They betrayed Yuuichiro once. Only agreeing to one request.

The sole request is pretend not to believe that Yuuichiro had a stalker when he told them. They thought they tricked Mikaela. They just want his money, and after that they will apologize to Yuuichiro and perhaps everything will be fine. They planned to catch the stalker for Yuuichiro, after all.

But Mikaela knew.

And he was ahead of them. Way far in front of them. They have to do more and more. Using their fragile spot so he could make them do things for him again.

Mirai was dying. Mikaela offered Kimizuki everything he needed to make sure she survive, and recover from her disease. But if Kimizuki accept it, all of them will be involved. If Shinoa and the others don't follow his orders, the deal broke and Mirai will be left to die.

Why did Kimizuki let Yuuichiro went near his avengers collection? He felt guilty. He used Yuuichiro so Mirai can live. Kimizuki put Yuuichiro in danger so his sister can be happy and well again. The avengers collection, it was the least Kimizuki could offer to Yuuichiro for everything that had happened. Heck, he will let Yuuichiro burn them if the raven pleased. Nothing can pay the price of what Yuuichiro have to go through for Kimizuki.

For Mirai.

   As for Yoichi, he accepted Mikaela's offer because he thought that he could watch over Yuuichiro from afar, as they were ordered to stay away from Yuuichiro. But oh, he thought.

Some fucking how, that was the only place he could stand. Behind them, watching over from afar. The image of Mikaela smiling tauntingly at him when they meet at university was enough to make Yoichi's blood boil.

Mikaela's schemes, and their own insides conflict happened at worst time possible. The brunet admitted that it was his fault. He misunderstood Kimizuki liking Yuuichiro, and got mad at the raven. Kimizuki explained everything to him, but when they are to fix things, it was too late. Yuuichiro blocked their contact, and the house key is no longer under the mat or in the vase.

Before the misunderstanding, Yoichi was determined to reveal Mikaela. Not to mention, the blonde was really suspicious. One moment they ask them to hurt Yuuichiro. And the other, he glared at them with hate and pulled Yuuichiro away from them.

Mitsuba and Shinoa mentioned that 'Mikaela' got mad at them for carrying out the mission he told them to do. Which was really weird.

After the mission where Mitsuba and Shinoa got kicked out by the blonde himself, the lilac haired girl decided to continue tradition. She was planning to bring them out to the fair, and asked Yoichi to break the news to Yuuichiro. But the raven never replied. They went to his house the next day still, but Yuuichiro was not home.

And then Yoichi claimed that he saw Yuuichiro and Mikaela at the fair. They didn't went after them, firstly for Mikaela. And the other was for Yuuichiro. The raven must be mad at them, and perhaps, Yuuichiro needed some time. Worst decision ever. They just give Mikaela more time to carry out his plan.

The next thing they knew, Yuuichiro slipped away from their grasp, though the raven already escaped from the safety they offers since the beginning. Because they handed him out themselves.

   That one day when Yoichi glared in Yuuichiro's way, he wasn't glaring the raven. He was glaring the person beside him. Yoichi was glaring Mikaela. The brunet was mad that Mikaela acted innocent, when last night he stole Yuuichiro away from them.

   Long story short, they decided to report Mikaela to the police using the stalking thing. Yoichi offered to do all the dirty work, for the same reason with the others. Guilt.

The brunet realize he used Yuuichiro too, to get Kimizuki. And he never get to apologize for it. They agreed not involve one another if something happened, because someone had to watch over Yuuichiro no matter what.
But after Yoichi is sentenced to jail, they know that they are powerless.

   When Yuuichiro strives into the room where they are supposed to be talking, Yoichi shoots up. He expected Yuuichiro to ignore him, but perhaps, the raven still cares about him despite cutting ties with him.

   Of course, he expected Yuuichiro to be mad at him. But he never expected the part where Yuuichiro admits that he is a stalker, too. Or at least, used to be. Yoichi doesn't know how to react to that, and so he ignores it and goes on with his point.

To his surprise, Yuuichiro barks at him back, infuriated as ever. So Yuuichiro knows all about their betrayal after all. The raven don't. But to Yoichi's eyes it looks like that. Mikaela must have left the point where the blonde himself is at fault, or simply lied to Yuuichiro.

And so, Yoichi promises Yuuichiro that he will save the raven from the devil's evil clutch.

Yoichi wants to save Yuuichiro from Mikaela, and the raven's own state of obliviousness.
