The cold air hits my skin like small prickling ice sickles. It was currently flurrying outside, and the streets of Paris France were crowded with a variety of different people.

They weren't lying about Paris having one of the best fashionable outlooks. Everything was unique, and sheik. After class on Monday, I may take a Lyft over to the shopping outlets.

We stood outside of our home, waiting for my father to get the keys from the man who helped us buy our home. I can't lie, the house is very nice.

I feel like if it was a lot lighter out and not clouded from the snow, the home would look even better.

"I'm excited" my mother squealed, clenching onto her fur coat for warmth. I gave her a smile, clearly just as excited as her.

Monday I start online classes at Champlain college. It's in New York, and because I'm out of the USA I had no other choice but to do online. The good thing is, the classes fit my schedule wonderfully... so I guess it's more than beneficial for me.

My father finally came back with the keys, handing me and my mom spare copies before opening the door, and leading us in.

My mother and I gasped in adoration, as we looked at every inch and corner of the house in awe. The feeling of home and warmth filled the air like cotton.

As we dragged our stuff in, I quickly ditched my parents and ran upstairs to the single room, that I now claim as mine.

Because we didn't have our furniture at the moment, our airbeds were already set up. I had a twin one, and a huge window with two doors that opened out. A white silk see through curtain hung over the window, and to my right there my personal bathroom stayed placed.

It was a decent size.

The wooden floor matched my bedroom floor. I had double sinks, a shower/tub. My walls were like a yellowish white kind of color.

I stepped back slowly, and squealed before dropping all of my things and quickly running downstairs to the kitchen, where my parents stood.

"Guys it's beautiful" I sigh out, making them laugh as my mom then grabbed her things and pulled them upstairs with her to their room.

"Go get showered and dressed. We're having a mini dinner with one of my business partners and his family tonight." He chirped. My smile instantly fell, and I bit my tongue as I could feel myself wanting to object against attending the dinner.

It's not that I didn't want to support my father, it's the simple fact that we've been on a plane for damn near 19 hours without any real food. I'm tired, and need to finish some homework before tomorrow.

I nodded my head, before jogging up the wooden stairwell.

Once I reached my room, I close and lock my door. I then grab the pink suitcase with some of my clothes in it, before picking out a black tunic like dress that had a choker like strap at the top, with silver jewels to cover the sheik fabric.

The bottom was silk, and had a beach dress kind of tone to it.

After laying it on my bed with my silver ballet type flats, I picked out a black lace bra set with black Calvin Klein panties.

After stripping from my clothes and placing them in my hamper, I grab myself a towel and face cloth from my hygiene suitcase, and head into the bathroom to clean myself off.

After showering, I did a quick teeth brush. I then added Shea butter lotion to my skin, and continued finishing the rest of my daily hygiene routine.

I take my hair from the bun it was once in, and comb out the small tingles. It was still straight from the last time I straightened it thankfully to God.

After putting on my attire, I walk downstairs where both of my very professional looking parents stood.

My dad has on a grey suit, with a white shirt and black dress shoes. My mom has on a plain green dress with a split in the middle and back. She added a black belt with flower patterns on the front of it, around the middle of her waist.

The silver necklace dad got her last Christmas added some bling, right along with her wedding ring and very many green bracelets.

"You guys look lovely tonight." I smiled, earning one back from the both of them.

"Not to bad yourself. Where are your earrings?" Mom frowned, making me do the same. Not only did I not wanna go to this damn dinner party, but I also didn't wanna clog my ear holes with diamond earrings.

"I have to find them." I mutter, making her sigh before grabbing her coat and placing it on herself.

"The ones Nana got you for your birthday would've been nice with your dress. Oh well, go get your coat on and meet us in the car."

"Wait you guys have the car already ?" I questioned, furrowing my eyebrows.

"Yes now hurry up. We can't be late to your fathers dinner." My mother scowled, making me roll my eyes before shooting upstairs.
