Quietness. All there was, was quietness between us vocally. 'Love of my life' by Brian Mcknight played at a low volume, but it was still loud enough for it to be heard.

Yes a classical love song being played while two strangers sit next to each other in a car, they were forced to be in together.

I feel like I was set up. I feel like this was not only Julians plan, but also Lizzy's. But here's my question, if Andrea and Giveon aren't together... then why the hell did they share that heated kiss earlier ? And why the hell am I sitting in a seat she should be sitting in?

"Earth to Georgia." His husky voice spoke, exposing his thick French accent. So thick, it snapped me completely out of my thoughts.

"Oh h-huh?" I asked feeling embarrassment beginning to creek up, as his blank expression soon changes as a small smile plants itself on his face.

"I asked why you were staring at me like you wanted to kill me or something." He chuckles, making me laugh nervously.

No but about right now, I wish I could just completely disappear off of the face of the earth.

"Oh I'm sorry. I was just in deep thought." I say, making him nod as he then turns his attention back on the road.

"So where are you from originally?" He questions, clearly trying to stir up a conversation. I hadn't even realized how good it smelled inside of his car. It was like different mixtures of expensive cologne.

"Manhattan New York, have you ever been ?" I asked, only earning a shrug.

"Yeah for business. I've never actually explored the city before. From what I saw though, it looked pretty enchanting." He smiles, making me do the same.

"Oh it is. You'll have to visit soon."

"Maybe I'll plan a trip for us on my birthday. I'll be 24 next month. Would you come?" He questions, while pulling into his driveway.

It seems like we were here before everyone.

"If you'd like me too. Although New York can be quite expensive. I'll need a side job to save some side money."

"Nonsense. I'll pay for your stay. Just bring yourself, that's worth some money in my eyes." He smirks, before getting out of the car. Leaving me completely speechless.

Lord.

I unbuckle my seatbelt, and exit the expensive vehicle. By the time I'm at the front door, Julian and the rest had already arrived, and were entering the building right with me.

We checked in with the receptionist, before getting on the elevator.

Once we hit the penthouse level, we all entered the breath taking home slowly. Soft jazz played, and the sound of water flowing through the huge fish tank on the wall relaxed me a bit.

Imagine living here. Waking up to this must be lovely.

Giveon's POV

God I felt like Jay Gatsby right now, as he tries getting the attention of Daisy by impressing her with the finer things. By the look in her eyes I could tell she was beyond amazed.

She was where I needed her to be. Innocent and naive. Her parents had money, yet she was humbled. I liked it. Nothing I was use to, but I liked it.

She carried herself like a real woman in my eyes.

Georgia.

The name rolls confidently off of my tongue, and sweetens my mouth like candy.

"Stop staring before you run her off." Julian smirks, making me chuckle before forcing myself to look elsewhere.

"How was the car ride ?" He asks, making me shrug. It was honestly nothing.

"We barely spoke. Maybe by the end of the night with Andrea out of the way, me and her will have a couple more conversations. I'll even invite her out on a brunch date and show her around Pa-

"Too soon." Julian cuts in, making me frown.

"Although that may work for woman here, I promise you it'll freak her the fuck out."

I give her another glance, before humming and bringing my glass of wine to my bottom lip, before taking a sip.

"What about just brunch ? Maybe I can host it here." I shrug, making him do the same.

"Sure. Ask her after dinner. After all, you'll be taking her home anyways." He smirks before taking off.

"Wait what ?" I frown.

Before I could make my way to love herself, I felt arms creep up around my waist. Pulling me into the touch, I curse underneath my breath and strongly grip the frail arms that held me for dear life.

"What the hell are you doing?" I grit out, before freeing myself from her grip.

Andrea stares at me innocently, only that's the exact opposite of what the hell she actually is.

"Hugging my boyfriend." She smiles. I can't help but vomit inside of my mouth. Feeling the bile rise up, I stare at the very whore in front of me in disgust.

Does she actually think we're together ?

"Oh please, no woman of mine dances and prances around. Giving her goods to any and everyone like- like a cheap slut." I glare deeply, hoping she felt my raft.

"Giveon how could you say that? I've been nothing but good to you. Let's remind ourselves that you're the one who introduced open relationships to me." She frowns, making me roll my eyes.

"Yeah with permission. You do what you want with people with my permission. This wasn't a fucking free for- I'm just gonna fuck everyone that stands in my way all. Why're you even here?" I chuckle, stepping up to her and closing the small gap that was once between us.

She gulped loudly,  before raking her fingers through her short raven colored hair.

"I came here to support you. Clearly I'm unwanted here by you. If it was such a problem, why did you kiss me?" She glares, causing my very own eyes to practically pop out of its own socket.

"YOU KISSED ME FIRST! You're the one that's sending mixed signals. I don't know what the fuck you've got going on, but if you treasure your life... you'd stay the hell away from me."

Before she could say anything else, I greet my cook and make my way to my table. I pick up a fork, and hit it a few times against the glass. Everyone stops what their doing and turns their attention towards me.

In the corner of my eye, I could see Andrea talking to Elizabeth with visible tears in her eyes. What a poor excuse for a woman.

I then glance over at Georgia. I couldn't help but stare at her attire. What she wore wasn't revealing, but the long red dress hugged her curves perfectly.

She was a true art piece. Her and Julian stood beside each other, and I swear I could see that challenging grin through his fake ass smile. He knew of the feelings I felt for the woman who stood beside him.

It was his fault really. If it wasn't for them speaking, or him speaking about her, maybe I wouldn't look at her in that way.

Of course I'm not mad at it, but I'm also just thinking of the what if's.

I clear my throat before allowing a small smile to grace my lips.

"Dinner's ready everyone."
