Georgia's POV
After finishing up my coffee cake muffin, I throw away my trash; then grab my duffel bag and make my way outside to Lizzy's car.
She invited me to the gym with her and Andrea yesterday night over the phone, and although I'm not much of a fan of Andrea, I couldn't bring myself to turning Lizzy down.
She was my friend now. Besides I had nothing else better to do with my day, other than school work and binging game of thrones.
I open the door to her back seat, and slide in before specifically greeting Lizzy. Me and Andrea hadn't payed each other any mind, and surprisingly her usual snarky remarks were at a zero today.
I could get use to this.
"So how'd you sleep last night?" Lizzy asks, breaking the comforting silence.
"It was fine. I was pretty cold, because my fathers stingy about turning on the heat." I chuckled, making her do the same as she pulls her car into an empty parking spot.
"Well mine was great. Giveon came over last night, after the dinner." Andrea smirked, as she throws her bag over her shoulder and leads the way.
Me and Lizzy side eyed one another before following right behind her.
It was none of my concern whatever her and Giveon still had going on. Claiming Giveon as a friend is kind of a reach, but then again I am going with him on his family yacht tomorrow, so I guess we have some kind of relationship.
"Don't listen to her." Lizzy whispered, as she threw her bag inside of her small white gym locker.
"What do you-
"They aren't seeing each other. She's just upset because he's taken an interest in you." She smiles sadly, making me frown.
"How would you know?"
She lets out a small laugh, before pulling her long blonde hair into a high bun. She pulls out her Vaseline bottle and applies some to her lips, before setting it back in her bag and turning to face me once again.
"I can tell by the way he looks at you. I know because that's how he use to look at Andrea." She frowns. Before she could leave out of the locker room, I grab her by her arm but not roughly, causing her to turn around and face me directly.
"What's going on between you and Andrea?" I ask. She squints her eyes, before letting out a breath. I don't know why I asked her this, but something In me was pushing me to do it.
"What ever do you mean G?"
She's playing dumb.
"Like the way you guys are always around one another. Or how y'all exited the bathroom together, last night at the event." I say, but her face still remains the same.
"Andrea's my best friend. Nothing more, nothing less." She says, before quickly leaving out and leaving me alone in my own curiosity.

Giveon's POV
I let out a sigh, before entering my father's office building and greeting the sweet receptionist lady at the front desk.
"Giveon it's nice to see you." She smiles, making me do the same before nodding and making my way to the first elevator.
"Giveon it's a pleasure to see you." One of my fathers many guards greeted, once I stepped out of the elevator.
I hummed in response. As I'm walking down the long and well air conditioned hallway, I can't help but notice the many different rooms that's currently occupied with different events.
My father was one of the many CEO's for ESPN, so he and every other employer of his branch worked to their best standard. I admired him for that.
I kept my face neutral, and my head held high. I've noticed that I'm respected more when a smile isn't held on my face. When I say respected, I mean taken more seriously. People tend to not over step their boundaries, and for that I put on a facade persona.
"Father" I nod, before taking a seat on his couch that sits perfectly across from his desk.
"Giveon. I didn't expect to see you today." He smirks, before moving back in his seat and crossing his arms over his broad chest.
"Yeah well I wouldn't be here if product wasn't being stolen." I spat through gritted teeth. After work I decided to go to the warehouse where we keep our product and earned money, only to find half of our fucking product missing.
The less product we have, the less money we get. The less money we get, the more heads I'm gonna need by the end of tonight.
This alerted him.
"How the hell did our product get taken!" He mildly shouts. It's known around town that my father runs a drug business. Nobody has the courage to go against him or even confront him about his dirty business. He made sure of that.
"The fuck if I know. One of your young scallywag ass employers probably broke in when no one was there and swiped our product." I stated angrily.
"You think it's an inside job?" He asks, while running his thumb over his beard.
"It has to be. Unless someone's clocking our every move. And if that's the case, it still would equate to being an inside job."
"Right. Gather every new member I've recently hired at the warehouse. We might have to make an example out of someone."
