As the night goes on, I can't help but notice the lack of attention Georgia has been giving me. I of course didn't want to seem needy, but she barely looked my way the entire dinner.

Was she nervous?

Did I scare her?

The way she'd twist the small chain that wrapped around her wrist, with her initials planted at the very top.. the way she'd just stare into space, hoping nobody would notice that she was clearly not in our reality.

Again was she nervous ? Did I make her nervous?

Her thigh bounced uncontrollably as her front teeth nibbled at her bottom lip. She'd take a sip of her wine every here and there, and maybe take small bites of her meatloaf and rice but if I hadn't practically watched her for the whole dinner, I probably would've mistaken her for not taking a single bite.

Maybe meatloaf isn't her favorite... do they even eat meatloaf in America?

Her lips moved but I couldn't quite hear what she was saying. Once she stood up, I quickly broke from my daze and grabbed onto her small frail wrist, clearly catching her off guard as she flinches at my touch.

"Where are you going?" I question, causing her face to relax some.

"Just to the rest room. May you show me it please ?"

I couldn't help but smile at her innocent question, but that quickly dropped once I heard the woman I once cared for yawn obnoxiously loud.

It was clear that she was being over dramatic, and hated the scene of both me and Georgia... she'd of course have to get use to it, if she continues to hang around our group.

"Dinners over. I say we play a game." She says, but I continue to keep my eyes directed on Georgia as she anxiously stares at me and awaits for my answer.

I could hear the distain in her voice, but the man in me chose to ignore it.

"Yes I'll show you." I got up and held my hand out for her to grab. She did but very hesitantly, as she then peered over my shoulder and looked down at her feet quickly.

I lead the way to the bathroom, and waited outside for her to be finished.

Georgia's POV

I stared at myself in the mirror and let out a sigh. Why was he staring at me the way he was? Why do men give you that look, as if they want something from you?

And why the hell is it so hard to see what they want? You figure it out once they've taken everything from you.

I'm knocked out of my thoughts once a ringing from my phone goes off. I slide my finger across the green button and put my phone up to my ear, only to hear frantic breathing.

"Hello mom? Is everything okay?" I ask through the phone.

"Oh Georgia, your fathers in the ER right now. He's having an allergic reaction to something he ate at dinner with the Monet's. It's such a sight to see, his entire face is swollen... I-it's almost like he was beaten." My mother sighs out, clearly frustrated.

"Shit is he gonna be okay? Should I meet you guys there?" I ask impatiently.

"No no. I just needed to inform you that we may not be home tonight. But could you bring us both some extra clothes for the night?" She asks, making me nod in response as if she could see me.

"Yeah sure. I'm on my way now."

I hang up the phone and let out a sigh. Once I look up at my reflection through the mirror, there stood a worried looking Giveon. My body jolts back, as I hold my phone to my chest and breathe uncontrollably heavy.

When the hell did he get in here?

"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you.." he pauses before stepping forward.

"I uh couldn't help but notice you were on the phone with your mother. Is everything okay?" He questions, seeming genuinely concerned.

"Oh yeah. My father just had an allergic reaction to something while he was at dinner with Julians parents. He had to be rushed to the ER." I chuckle, making him frown and he nods and inches even closer.

"Will you be going now then ?" He asks, making me nod slowly.

"I enjoyed dinner Giveon. You had an amazing performance also." I reassured, causing his regular panty dropping smile to spread across his face.

"Thank you and I'm Glad of that. May I ask how you'll be getting home?" He questions, inching even closer, causing me to back up into the counter.

Could he not stay in one spot?

"Um I was just going to take a Lyft. Why?"

I ask, meeting his dark brown glistening gaze.

"I can have my driver Henery take you home. Just tell him you'll need him to your house and the hospital. I'll of course have to stay here, but I wish you safe travels." He smiles, making me do the same.

After trying to pick one flaw out of him, I still can't find one.

"Okay." I simply answer, making him nod.

Before he leaves out, he stops at the door and turns around. He slowly makes his way back up to me and takes my right hand in his.

"Will you join me this Saturday on my family Yacht?" He asks with hopeful eyes. I couldn't bring myself to saying yes or no. I simply don't know Giveon that much, and to go out in the middle of the sea with him is just crazy.

What if he was trying to set me up?

"I-I'm sorry. Too soon? How about a movie theater ?" He chuckled lightly before giving my hand a soft squeeze.

"U-uhm y-yeah sure. The yacht sounds nice. Movie theaters are more so for teenagers who can't afford to go on a real date." I chuckle, making him laugh aloud.

Perhaps that was rude.

"So I'll pick you up at 9:30 then. Here, put your number in my phone." He says before handing me his phone.

After doing so, we both step out of the bathroom, only to hear all three hooligans arguing in the living room.

"Well this is where we part. Text me once you've gotten home. Henery's outside waiting for your arrival."

Giveon says before planting a kiss on my knuckle, then making his way up to the crook of my neck, and planting another on my cheek.

The entire area seemed to get extremely hot all of a sudden. I swear I'd probably die from a heat stroke if I stayed under him any longer.

I stumbled back some and gave him a smile, before making my way to the living room and saying my goodbyes.

Giveon stayed close behind me the entire time, and guided me to the lobby of his apartment building, before parting ways finally.
