Trust (last life )(Bdubs/Etho)

{ hey y'all been awhile, but I am back! Now before you even  start to read this ,I would like to say this has some spoilers (major ones) from Bdubs ,Etho and Grian last life Pov's (3rd life S2)

So yes this is the last life fic I was talking about making ,last life gave me back my inspiration and ideas ,it was so good to watch ,and were only episode 1 in--

Bdubs could feel his heart stop, as he looked at his communicator, dread pooling in his stomach, he couldn't believe it, this can’t be happening, he can’t be the boogeyman, this can’t be happening, can it?

As Bdubs looked over at his partner, he could instantly see Etho relax slightly, and Bdubs couldn’t help but feel sad at that knowing, he will soon after betray his friends trust

“So?” Bdubs spoke hesitantly

Etho looked up at him, smiling softly under his mask

“ well i'm not the boogeyman, so that's good”

Bdubs nodded in agreement

“ i'm not the boogeyman either, so you're definitely safe with me “ the shorter of the duo replied

Bdubs couldn’t stop the nervous chuckle that came out, he just hoped Etho couldn’t notice his shaky hands and didn't think too much about his tense posture.

Time passed as the two continued mining, once in awhile Bdubs would look at Etho, the urge to just get this over with and kill the male, was the only thing bdubs could really think about, and that just hurt his heart, he didn’t wanna hurt his Etho, not after them finally being on a team for once, he doesnt wanna betray his trust, he doesn’t wanna hurt the one he cares about.

But tbh Bdubs knows the overwhelming urges was his fault, he has already had plenty of chances to kill people ,yet he blew it, he had chances to kill both Tango and Skizz, but he was too much of a coward to do so, he’s had chances to kill Etho, but once again deep down he knows he’d never do that.

He also knows if he doesn’t kill someone soon, his own life would be on, he would lose all but 1 lives, and knowing him, after that he wouldn’t survive for too long then, he’s not even sure Etho would trust him afterwards.

Both males were talking amongst each other, just discussing plans and other random stuff, when they heard a voice above them

“Hello secret cave dwellers, surprised neither of you have killed each other yet” spoke the cheerful voice above them

“Heeey don’t ruin the surprise!” Etho wined cheerful

Bdubs let out a small chuckle, if only Etho truly knew

“ of course neither of us would kill each other Gri, neither of us are the boogeyman, what about you Gri, how come you haven’t killed anyone yet”

Grian let out a gasp at the accusation

“Me? I’m not the boogeyman! I already said so in chat”
