Happily Ever After (Tango/Etho Drabble)

{Okay ,okay listen this was originally a drabble but then I started writing this and couldn't stop, this is technically still a drabble and not a full oneshot ,I actually have an idea for a oneshot for this ^^, the idea behind this mainly came from the star crossed lover type thing, and also mixed in a royalty au ...and a slight hint to a soulmate one...I a mess rn ,some how I melted my own heart ,and hair softness ,I really like this despite how rambling it is ,this drabble will forever be in my heart ,let me know what y'all think and should I actually add on to this? Aka the 2 oneshots ideas I had for this??

Warnings: Technically none,just kissing ,a little talk of war and bloodshed but it was only really briefly mentioned, other than that it's okay ^^

Two males, stood in front of each other, silently gazing at each other, with nothing but love in their eyes, both males were afraid to make the first move to speak or even interact, as neither wanted to disrupt this somewhat peaceful mood, both could silently agree upon finally being able to have a break from their equally chaotic live.

The shorter of the pair, smiled softly up at the white haired male, chuckling softly at the slight blush he caused the other,what in turn made the other get even more flustered, despite doing this whole “game” for months now, it never ceases to amaze the younger how flustered the taller one gets at a simple glance or complement, but to be far it makes their little game more fun, then it already is.

The white haired male, shook his head slightly trying to compose himself in front of younger, he tried to not get flustered but he couldn’t help it, could you blame him, when the most adorable and handsome demon calls you cute or smiles at you, it’s hard to keep a straight face when that happens...and it happens quite a lot.

The shorter of the male, also known as Tango slowly made his way closer to the taller male, he gently reaches up and places his hand upon his partners face, gently caressing it, taking in his loves natural beauty, gosh Tango was absolutely in love with this man, he loved everything about the other male, from the scar on his left eye, to the freckles that dusted his cheeks, he most definitely loved the others soft lips, especially when there against his own, he also adored the way the other smile at everything the demon would say, and how flustered the other got at every compliment Tango would call him, the demon loved running his fingers through the males soft white hair.

But one thing Tango loved the most, was his lovers mismatched eyes, he loved how different it made him look from the “normal” princes, he loved how his eyes would sparkle with mischief everytime he thought of a scheme to play out, or how they’d gleam with joy every time he was happy or how soft they’d get every time he got flustered, basically he just loved his eyes, because of how much emotions they held be it good ones….or bad ones, but he didn’t just love his eyes...no...he loved Etho in general, everything about him, what wasn’t there to love, he was a pretty perfect guy, at least in his own eyes, he was generally the only guy for Tango, if only the world so it that way, but sadly, the world didn’t and both are just lucky to get hidden moments like this.

Etho nuzzled his head into Tangos hand, snapping the demon out of his thoughts, he looked up at Etho, and couldn’t help but smile softly at the concern in the other’s eyes, Tango shook his head slightly and that in turn made Etho realized what Tango was likely thinking of,Etho just sighed softly before bringing the smaller into his arms giving the other a reassuring hug, making a silent promise to the other that things will be ok.

Tango blushed slightly at the hug, before burying his head into the others chest, letting out a shaky sigh, Etho just ran his finger through the blonds hair attempting to somewhat ease the demons worries, what it seemed like it worked, if the purring the other started to make was to go by.

Moving back from the other slightly, Etho gazed softly down into Tangos crimson eyes, his own eyes showing nothing but love and a hint of mischief, Tango instantly knew what the other wanted, and he shook his head slightly before pulling the other down into a soft yet passionate kiss, Tango couldn’t help but deepen the kiss, loving the way the other melted and how flustered he already has gotten, finally breaking away from the kiss due to a terrible thing know as breathing.

Both males just gazed lovingly once more at each other,  both panting heavily and both having smiles upon their faces...despite everything, the two will forever love eachother, Tango knows that and they may not be able to be together this lifetime but maybe another one, maybe some time in the future.

“I love you, Tango , you know that right ?” The taller spoke softly as to not disturb their little moment

“Yeah….Yeah i know that E, I Love you to Etho..i’m just gonna miss you “ Tango responde voice shaking slightly

Etho nodded slightly, solemnly

“I know “

“But hey E, no need to look so glum, maybe..maybe in another life time we’d meet again,alright”

Etho smiles at that and nods

“Yeah, another lifetime Tango, but that doesn’t mean mean i won’t stop loving you in this one”

“Yeah.. me either Etho..me either”

Yeah another lifetime… maybe then they could finally have their happily ever after, with no war involved….

Little did the two know, they indeed did end up meeting in the future, in a more less bloodthirsty environment, yet still a chaotic environment but at least in this world...they’d finally be able to have their happily ever after, and so what if it took them a couple years to find eachother again but at least they were in eachothers arms once again, and despite their years apart...their love most definitely didn’t diminish, after all true love or well soul mates are forever,  and forever their love will burn.
