We might have talked a bit here and there, then I dodged my friend's numerous calls again.

We decided she will exit as soon as the show ends. She didn't wanna congratulate the couple and nope, neither did i.

"Let's have the cake now come on. It's late."

Someone yelled over the bass playing in the background and we turned.

Oh here comes the hurt train.

I felt Kendal moving closer to me as I bit my lip.

He was smiling rather freely and hugged his mother tight, then he took the glass and hit it with a spoon. Yep. hit. it.

"Ladies and gentlemen. I know... I know this is supposed to be when y'all have a cake here but ehm.. I got a Lil announcement to make."

He removed the paper I gave him out and my heart dropped to my stomach.

"Harry?"

Kendal whispered making me move toward her forcefully. Her black eyes shimmering as she pulled me further away.

I could still see him, could still hear him though.

"Go!! I'll ... I'll tell someone to pick me up. Please don't torture yourself. GO!!" I looked back at Zayn and sighed. It's time to leave.

"So this day is about someone special. Am glad she is in my life. And glad she brought the ultimate gift anyone can give to me- my baby girl."

Yes, we definitely have to leave. ABORT. MISSION. HARRY.

I turned back taking a slow step like I have ice on my sole.

"But this announcement is dear to me. I thought a looooooottt about it. And I finally understood what I really wanted. and for that, I need to claim it. It's not going to be given to me on a platter. haha"

I heard a shatter and turned back and he was swaying but gave everyone the cheekiest of his smile. Who the heck is this person.

Kenny looked back at me now. Because this is weird.

That idiot is drunk? I saw him sway a bit before smacking his lips and nodding around, pointing at the bassists to shut up.

"Should I go ?"

"I don't know hun this is gonna be fun to watch tho seeing he is a bit .." she winked at me knowing very well am a sucker for him and won't leave after seeing him drunk.

"Zayn never gets drunk Ken. he is like no drink, yes all the way to smoke guy."

I rolled my eyes at her but shifted forward. In case he fell, I should be close no? What if something else happened?

"So.. this day is special for me too. For slightly different reasons."

I could see Gigi preening under everyone's gaze even though Zayn is drunk. Everyone knew he need something strong to pull this off.

She is right in front of me. And I don't like the way she looks so happy and surprised.
