Chapter Twenty Two.

RILEY'S POINT OF VIEW.
-One week later-
"Come on, Riley, get out of bed already!" Sky was out my door.
Ever since my big 'fight' with Leon, I didn't get out of bed, I didn't eat much, and didn't interact with any people.
I didn't even welcome Ryan back from the hospital.
I just didn't want to do anything. I wanted to lay there and just...exist.
My body couldn't physically form any more tears. I can only imagine how bloodshot red my eyes were.
I didn't react like that when Alex cheated on me, but that's because I had an immediate distraction from that situation.
"Riley James Browns! Open this door right now!" Mom's voice said from outside.
I sighed and finally got up, unlocking my door and opening it. "What do you want from me?" I asked, my voice sounding awful to my own ears.
Mom's features laced with shock. "Sweetheart, please let me in. Tell me what happened."
"I'll tell you...soon...I promise," I said. "I just don't want to talk about it right now."
Mom nodded slowly. "Come on downstairs, Ryan really wants to see you."
"Yeah, okay," I said, following her downstairs. I didn't give a shit about how I looked. I wanted to go back to bed.
I entered the living room, my heart immediately skipping a beat.
Leon was sitting next to Ryan, talking and laughing with him like nothing happened last week. "Riles! You're finally u– why do you look like that?" Ryan asked, concern clear in his voice.
Leon and I were practically in the middle of a staring contest.
"Get. The fuck. Out." I said, narrowing my eyes at him. "I thought I told you I never want to see you again?"
"Whoa, what the hell happened?" Ryan asked. "What did you do?" he looked at Leon.
"Riley, I want to ta—" Leon started.
