"Are you shitting me?" Riley asked the moment I told her the truth.

"Uh...no?" I said.

"You were drunk too! That must have been your imagination," Riley exclaimed. "I do not have feelings for you, Leon."

This isn't going as smoothly as I planned.

It's time for Plan B.

I started laughing, and she looked so confused. "I got you!" I exclaimed, and doubled over in laughter as if I just pulled the funniest prank on her.

"Oh my God! Fuck you, Leon!" she exclaimed, but she had a humorous smile on her face. "I can't believe I fell for that."

"What can I say? I'm amazing at pranks," I said.

"I'm just gullible," she said, chuckling.

"That you are, Riley Browns," I said, smirking humorously.

My phone suddenly started ringing, I checked the caller ID to see it's my dad. I immediately scowled and declined the call.

I haven't spoken to him since I found out about my grandmother's letter, he's tried to call me at least 50 times now.

I don't know how he found out that I found this letter.

My mom has also tried to call me many times, I keep declining both their calls, though.

"I'm going to the others," Riley said, standing up again. "Are you coming with me?" she asked, looking at me.

"Yeah," I said, standing up and walking out with her.

"Oh, I've meaning to ask you something," Riley started. "What the hell is your parents' job?"

I laughed. "My parents are the CEOs of a multimillion-dollar company," I stated as we walked together.

"I had a feeling," she stated, grinning at me, her blue eyes shined with amusement. "You wanna grab lunch somewhere? I'm starving."

"Didn't you want to join the others?" I asked.

"When you think about it, I'll be surrounded by couples, so I changed my mind," she explained.
