*•RILEY'S POINT OF VIEW•*

"Are you guys all packed?" Ryan asked, popping into the kitchen where Lilly, Sky, and I stood, chatting and drinking orange juice.

We were returning to Miami for good, as Leon's graduation was three days away. I had the best time up till two weeks ago when the incident happened.

It pangs me every time I think about it. I can't even imagine how Leon is doing. He's been distant and cold towards us ever since the funeral, he didn't speak much, and he spent most of the time at Mr Māhoe's house, understandably so.

None of us pressured him into talking or opening up or even hanging out, we all respected that he needed space and time.

I just hope he can move past this and seek the help he needs.

"Yeah, everything's in the trunk of the van," Sky responded, taking a sip of her juice.

Nate had called in a van to take us all, along with our luggage, to the airport.

"Okay, good, we leave in five."

We all nodded and Ryan left the kitchen. "I'll miss this place for sure," Lilly said. "Even though we had bad memories here, we still had good ones."

I nodded in agreement, drinking the last of my juice. "I just wish things ended on a better note, you know? I feel awful for Leon and the other guys."

"Yeah, I understand," Sky said. "I hope they can all overcome the trauma."

Lilly and I both nodded. The conversation seemed to end there. I took the empty cups from the girls and washed them, and then we all walked out to the living room.

Leon was sitting on the couch, his head leaned back and his eyes were shut.

"We'll see you in the van, Riles," Lilly said and I nodded, both of my best friends walking out of the mansion towards the van.

Leon still hadn't woken up, so I went over and gently tapped his leg. "Lee, baby, it's time to go," I said, Leon quickly sat up and looked around. "It's just me, they're all waiting outside for us. Are you ready to go?"
