Cassandra's Point of View:

I still haven't heard from Elijah since he left to find his brother. It's really starting to get to me that something bad may have happened to him. Every fiber of my being is telling me I should have gone with him. It's hard to focus on the task at hand. We had finally found Katherine and Damon has her tied to a chair right in front of us now. "Way to make a girl want to help you out." She scoffs before spitting at the floor in front of her. "It's not my fault you're unpredictable, this way you'll talk." I cross my arms over my chest as Damon sits on the couch in front of her leaning in his chair. "Come on Cassie, you were supposed to play nice." Damon speaks with a singsong voice, although we get along alot better now he still gets under my skin. Katherine drools as her eyes pounce on Damon... I think she's most attracted to whatever brother is in front of her at the moment. She'd have them both if she could. The good thing about that means we could toy with her either way. Rather it's Stefan or Damon. And by the looks of her face it won't be hard at all. "We need your help Katherine." Damon cuts to the chase. I worry that his anxiety will make him jump the gun too fast and she'll know it's all a hoax. "What do you want and what's in it for me?"

"Me." He says flirtatiously with a smirk and let me tell you it takes everything in me not to gag thinking of him talking to lia in the exact same way. Yuck. I know it would kill her to see him with her. She laughs, "Oh come on Damon we both know you don't want me." When his demeanor doesn't crack she stops laughing. She looks between the both of us. "You're serious?" Damon nods and she looks over at me for confirmation. "Listen, you're the last person I would call but my friends need you. Lia warned me all about you so I wouldn't talk to you if I didn't have to." So far she seems to believe us. What are we going to do after all this is over? No idea, perhaps we'd kill her. "So, all I have to do is turn Aurelia's humanity back on?" She questions and I remind her she should try for Stefan too. "Oh but Stefan is so much more fun without it."

"Katherine, if you do this for me, it will show me you truly love me and I'll do anything for you after that. I want someone on my side. You will be redeemed. Please." He adds on a beg because she loves to feel in control, she loves to feel needed. Of course that was the cherry on top for her. "Fine. I'll try, but you guys have to protect me from Klaus." Damon stands up and unties her. "Like I said, I'll do anything for you." He says snaking his arm around her waist. Maybe if we get Aurelia and Stefan back we could offer him Katherine on a platter as a truce. Now all we have to do is find the two before they kill anyone else. I send a text to the group chat letting everyone know we got Katherine on board and to let us know if they see Stefan or Aurelia anywhere. I glance over my shoulder to see Katherine and Damon still flirting with one another and decided I don't need to witness anymore. I walk upstairs and into Stefan's study and try to call Elijah again. This time it goes straight to voicemail. "Elijah please be okay." I begin to panic internally. I dial his number again. Why do I think it would be any different? I don't know. It worries me as it sinks in that I might have to face Niklaus to figure out what happened to Elijah. I have this sinking pit growing inside of me. I race down the stairs. "Damon, you got this without me? I have something I need to do."

"That's more important than this?" He seems offended and I shrug, throwing my hands in the air. "My hands are tied Damon, call me if you need me." I race out of the door before he could object. "What the hell is her problem?" I hear him mutter to Katherine before I am out of earshot.

I wonder about the streets of mystic Falls trying to find Niklaus. If I was the vermin of the city where would I be? I find an abandoned warehouse near a lake and decide to check inside. To my disappointment it's empty. "Now how the hell do I get out of here." I whisper realizing I got myself lost. I pull the handle to a sliding door to find a singular coffin inside. "Elijah.." I race over to it but when I open it I'm met face to face with Rebekah instead. And as much as I love her. I hate that it wasn't Elijah that I found. At least Niklaus made another enemy. I pull the dagger from her chest. I watch as the color slowly comes back to her face. We have to get her some blood as soon as possible.
