Chapter 6: Lenses and Succubus

Trish walked through the school halls, finding her way to the cafeteria. As she walked past the many students heading to the same destination as she was, her mind was still blown over the unbelieve success she'd just mastered. It was easier than she thought it would be. Lying to the teacher about her sexuality was child's play!

Being able to walk in trousers with no fear of people seeing too much off her lower parts she could finally relax and walk the way she usually would - without having to check her skirt every two seconds. Yes, some students on the way stared at her for a while but didn't think much of a girl wearing part of the boys' school uniform. It seemed like they didn't really care much enough to bother themselves asking her if that was even allowed. So, Trish didn't even have to bother with nosy students and could peacefully make her way towards the Cafeteria. Subaru silently followed behind her keeping a safe distance and a very close eye at the girl.

Trish assumed that he wanted to make sure that she wouldn't get lost or rather not make any trouble. She could see it from the intense way he kept staring at her. His expression seemed even more disturbed now than it was before, but Trish had no clue of the sudden change in his sudden disturbed and weirded out temper...

The brunette entered the cafeteria and was immediately greeted by the loud noise and chaos of Students talking and standing in line with their food tray. Trish looked around for a moment, spectating this display of unfamiliarity she found herself in. There were lots of tables with different groups of students sitting around, each one chatting with their friends while devouring their delicious lunch meals. After a while of watching and curiously scanning this display in front of her, Trish then decided to take a tray of her own and stand in line, looking at the prices of the food presented in the showcases. Her mouth dropped at the expensiveness of the food they sold at this place.

'No way I can afford that...!' The teen checked her purse, looking for how much cash she had available. She only brought 2500 Yen with her and a simple Soba already cost 1300 Yen?! Soba usually costs between 200 to 300 Yen. The rest of the food that was displayed wasn't any cheaper either and Trish really didn't want to waste her money just for a warm meal. She was a bit hungry...yes, but there had to be a cheaper option to get herself something to eat.

She could go into the city and get something there, but that only would waste time she'd rather spend to find an optician. As the brunette was looking around, she took notice of a vending machine that was located at a corner of the dining hall. She decided to put her tray aside, leaving the queue and went straight up to the snack machine.

There had to be some sort of snack she was able to afford and not spend too much money on. And in fact, there was. Sure, it was a little bit more expensive than how it usually would cost, but still way cheaper than the warm food they sold here. In the end Trish picked a small pack of a single Dorayaki (Dorayaki consists of sweet bean paste sandwiched between two pancake-like patties) and considered the small pack of plastic in her hand.

'Well...gotta have dessert for lunch then...' she threw the snack around between her two hands before opening it and taking a small bite out of the bread. While munching on her cold meal Trish looked around the cafeteria, trying to find a spot where she could sit, but only grumbled in disappointment. Seeing that all the free seats available already got claimed by groups of students she didn't know where exactly to sit. Trish spotted some of her classmates in the huge crowd, but didn't make the attempt to approach them in any way, since she was too afraid to interact with them without wearing her contact lenses.

The thought of eating outside crossed the girls mind, but when she spotted Yui and the Sakamaki brats sitting at a Table at the far end of the hall she decided otherwise. 'A little bit of company would be nice...' trying to actually socialize with the people you're living with was something she was supposed to do anyway, and Trish bet Yui would at least enjoy her company. So, she slowly made her way through the crowd of students approaching the Sakamaki table.
