Lying in Bed, Trish was bundled up in piles of blankets. Together with a can of hot tea on her nightstand and a small plate of cut fruits Yui had left her.

After her expedition into the city, with the encounter of those hunters, the conversation with the witch, Trishas head was buzzing and burning. Her fever didn't make it better. Despite all this excitement and chaos, the fact of Trish suffering from a fever due to her stupidity to not treat her wound was still very present.

Last night, before Trisha headed to her chambers to retire, Reiji marched right to her room, angry with her for strolling around the mansion unattended.

Despite the Brother not knowing of Trisha's expedition into the city that night, he was still very mad at her. Yelling at her of her inane behavior, her attitude to dare glare down at her host as she did. He sent her off to bed, telling her he expected her ready in bed in five minutes. When she did without any sign of hesitation, he came back in five minutes with three more blankets, tea and medicine. Subaru, trott behind him grumpily, being the one who carried all these things for his older brother.

They also made sure to check Trisha's wound, cleaning it and bandaging it. As they did so, they made sure to wear gloves and masks. A night ago, Trisha would have been a bit irritated by their overcautiousness, but after Nastia the witch had confirmed her vampire theory, it only made sense. If her blood really was this enticing to these vampires, it would only make sense they'd want to distance themself from it.

It was still so very odd for the girl to know she was amongst people who could potentially snap or kill her at any moment. Trisha didn't quite know if she should fear for her life, or be curious and amazed.

Even if she didn't want to admit it, there was something fascinating about the fact knowing that all these night creatures actually existed. Trisha only knew vampires from Fairtale books, children tales or these classics such as Dracular or that god forbidden Twilight movie.

But now, she had perfect and real vampire examples before her, beings she never thought existed. It was beyond comprehension.

It made Trisha wonder what else she didn't know about the world she lived in. How many truths had been hidden from her?

Reiji and Subaru went as swiftly as they had arrived, not daring to stay longer. So, the girl was left unattended to rest.

Before the elder brother left the girl, he explicitly warned her to stay in bed for the next few days until her fever had vanished.

This included having to stay home instead of going to night school. Which, honestly, didn't sound so bad for Trisha. Though Reiji made it exceptionally clear that she'll still have to study and fulfill her class material, for he'll personally deliver it to her. The boy really had a stick up his ass, that, Trisha knew for certain.

The next few days, she actually did as she's been told. Resting in bed and trying to recover. Yet, her encounter with the witch, the hunters but especially the one with Ayato left her no peace.

Who was this Cordelia Ayato kept rambling about as he starred absolutely terrified into the dark.

The human could still visually see the boy's face in front of her. She'd thought that these...vampires, were cold and emotionless individuals who showed little but no personal information. All of them kept to themself. This was odd. I mean, odder than Sakamaki odd. The brunette knew all of them had some screws loose, and were probably extraordinarily dangerous. Given the information she received from Yui, they did not beg away from abuse.

Yet...there was something about that look, that primal fear in Ayato's eyes that evoked a shimmer of worry and pitty within Trisha. She couldn't quite explain it herself, since she barely even talked to Ayato or any of the triplets. She tried to avoid those three as best as she could after Subaru.
