Life has been...tense the last few days.

Trisha's confrontation with Shu did not go well throughout the entire mansion additionally with the scent of her blood that was filling every corner of the house.

Stupidly, Yui was the one who'd suffer from all of these factors. Due to the strong scent of blood, barely any of the brothers could maintain their thirst. In order to remain sane to a certain extent Yui was the bloodbag they'd feast upon whenever Trisha's remaining bloodscent drove them crazy. For reasons Yui didn't quite understand, drinking her blood helped them balance out the desire and lust they craved for the new girl's liquid...yet they would always make a remake after drinking Yui, saying things as "I bet her blood could please me more" or "You're blood doesn't nearly smells as sweet as hers...".

Especially Ayato seemed to take a liking to teasing her with that. Yui tried not to show it, but in a sense it did hurt her being compared to Trisha because of her blood. Something Yui never thought she'd ever get depressed about, for she should be happy that the brothers seem to lessen their interest in her blood. Yet, deep inside her core it made her feel unwary, something she herself didn't quite understand. Everytime this feeling overcame her she tried to swallow it down as soon as it had emerged. In no means did she want to get jealous about such a little thing as the taste of blood. But sometimes the thought of "what if" never seemed to leave her head...

Other than Shu, most of the Sakamakis made sure to avoid Trisha as much as they could. Even Subaru went out of his way to sleep everywhere but in his own room next to Trisha's, being afraid he might attack her while she was asleep and easy prey. Some nights, he would gently knock at Yui's door asking if he could spend the night in her room.

Asking...might be giving him too much credit, he would knock on the door and then let himself in and snuck into Yui's bed. He wouldn't exactly ask for Yui's consent and really, he didn't say anything at all. But the blond knew him well enough to know that was his way of asking for attention and comfort. Being the goodhearted creature Yui was, she accepted his terms and let him stay for the night without rebelling. Being the youngest and the least trained in restraining his bloodthirst, he must have had a very hard time with Trisha's scent roaming through the halls of the mansion, Yui could tell. If Subaru stayed close to her so her own scent could cover up the one of Trisha for Subaru to not get feral and attack the brunette, Yui was more than happy to help him with that.

Opposing Subaru, Kanato didn't have a hard time taking space from Trisha in the slightest. Out of all the brothers, he liked the new girl the least, Yui knew. When she asked him one time why that was, he became very upset saying things such as her features and the way she acted weren't lady-like or cute as Yui's. Her persistence and independence rubbed him the wrong way too. But everytime he talked about Trisha's brute behavior he would glorify how making her a doll would redeem her and make her truly beautiful. For Kanato saw Trish as nothing but a doll in the making with whom he could play with once she was polished...everything to Kanato sometimes seemed nothing but a game to the boy. And the game he played as of now was a game of patience, waiting until given the go to bend Trisha to his wishes like a barbie doll. Precisely that was the look Kanato wore at least whenever Yui saw him staring at the brunette...it genuinely even gave Yui chills who'd already gotten used to Kanato's creepy obsessional behavior. In that moment, when Kanato talked so hatefully about Trisha, she was truly glad that Kanato took a liking to her. Despite even Kanato making remarks on Yui's blood being less interesting, he at least reassured her that she was the prettier and more fun doll to play with for him. Which did make Yui blush at times hearing that from him.

Ayato and Laito tried to avoid Trisha as much as they could but sometimes they'd stray too close into the third floor to the point where Subaru or Reiji had to remind them of the agreement to stay away. That's probably why both brothers stuck rather close to one another so one could remain reasonable if the other wasn't. They also loved to drag Yui along with them whenever they patrouled the house out of boredom, because they loved the threesome dinner they'd occasionally had as they put it. But really, Yui knew that they took her with them as a reassurance that in case both brothers couldn't contain their needs she'd at least be able to step in and remain the cooler head if both couldn't. Which made Yui bloom a little knowing that at least Laito and Ayato relied and put trust in her which they'd never admit. And everytime she tried to tease them about it she would just be met with teasing bites from both.
