The next night dawned.
Sunday.
The sun has reached its horizon sending her farewells towards Trisha. The girl sat on her window seat staring out of the small prison that was her room. Twinkling wonders of light started to cover the night blue ocean as the last sundrop had faded into the vastness of nothing.
She did have to give this room some recognition for being the best spot to admire the sunset and the night sky, just as she had hoped so when she picked this room.As she sat there she could feel her chest start to itch again and an uncomfortable sore arose whenever she adjusted her body. Despite the cream she was able to create, the bites didn't let their presence loose. The pain had vanished ever since she had rubbed the white reeking cream on her body, but it didn‘t help much with the uncomfort that came with them. Reaching for her neck, the human tried to gently scratch the spot of the mark without triggering the wound too much.
Trisha had been sitting at her window all day all night recalling the events of this weekend and Friday night. The shock slowly settled and her mind was finally able to observe her situation with an objectiveness.
Her interaction with Subaru rested on her mind as well, and she started to wonder if she could gain alliances in this manoir until she had a solid plan to free her and Yui from madness.
For now, there wasn‘t much that she could do. Patience. She had to wait and see how the events would turn out for her. She knew that her next encounter with some of the brothers were gonna get ugly, from her side. She swore if she ever got Shu between her fingers she would make sure to give him a piece of her mind.
Her cat familiar hadn‘t returned either, no matter how often she whispered it‘s name into the darkness. Without the cat and the books there wasn‘t much she could do. She was really hoping that the knowledge given in the sanscript writing could have given her a hint, some sort of guidance to proceed.
But now, she was stuck. All the actions she had taken to free herself from this chaos had doomed her. But worst of all, she hadn‘t been able to help Yui in the slightest. Now, she was just as prey to these vampires as Yui was. One little sheep for the wolves to play with. Her thoughts were abruptly interrupted when a knocking emerged from her wooden door. Startled, the girl immediately assumed the worst and entered a state of flight and fight reaching for her kitchen knife from beneath her hoody. The knocking repeated until Trisha decided to approach and open it only an inch wide for her to see who was standing in front of it.
“What do you want.“ Trisha hissed at whoever was seeking her company.
“Miss Gringerwald.“
A polite, yet displeased, voice replied and as the human looked up she was meet with pink eyes behind well polished glasses. Her nose wrinkled to an expression of disgust she didn‘t bother to hide. Her displeasure upon Reiji‘s visit was as visible as solid matter.
“I have come to demand your presence for tonights Breakfast.“
Calmly, the second oldest brother, shoved the door open to the girls room without bothering to ask for permission to enter. Trisha tried to resist him coming in, but was just lightly pushed aside. Inspecting her room, Reiji took note of the broken closet mirror and then laid eyes upon the girl. A veil of satisfaction was covering his facial as he let a small smirk escape his lips letting his vampire canines flash for a split second.
“I take it, you‘ve processed the new found news quite well.“ He joked as he chuckled upon the obvious anger and despair Trisha must have felt upon her awakening. The girl could tell the vampire bathed in malicious joy towards Trisha‘s unfortunate situation.
