"Ethereal" Kartik thought as he saw Naira come out after changing. She wore a maroon saree. She was fiddling with her saree fall. He sat down to help but his eyes didn't dare to move from her face. He kept looking at her intently, and it looked like the colour of the saree was radiating on her face.
He came up and leaned close to her she was losing herself to the proximity.
He put his hand behind her head and pulled out the hair pin stick in her bun which led her hair to fall.
"Aise zyada khoobsurat lagti ho."
She couldn't help but blush more.
They came down only to see a furious dadi. She gave them a glare. Naira became restless and worried. Kartik remained unbothered. He caught her hand and moved out of the Goenka mansion.
"Aate hi, humare pote ko apni ungliyon par nacha rahi hai yeh ladki...iski akkal thikane laani padegi...waise bhi iss ghar mein Manish ke baad toh humara hi raaj hai!" Suhasini suppresses an evil smirk.
"Par iss musibat ko laaye bhi toh bhaisaab hi hain maaji. Unki merger deal ke chakkar mein humara Kartik hum se durr aur uss ladki ke qareeb hota jaa raha hai..." Surekha interrupts Suhasini's plotting.
"Uska ilaaj hai humare paas...aur waise bhi Manish ko apni deal se matlab hai uss ladki se nahi."
Kartik drove to their destination.
It was the beach. No special arrangements were done. It was simple, but a thoughtful date.
He opened the door for her like a true gentleman which he was.
He held her hand and she came out.
"Kartik maine saree pehni hai! Yeh beach.."
"Tum kaho toh utha lu tumhe?" He said with a smirk.
"Ji nahi. I'm fine." She opposed playfully.
"Arey yaar! I shouldn't have asked you...Seedha utha lena chahiye tha! Aise!"
He picked her in his arms and laughed.
She joined his laughter session struggling to get down.
"Kartik please utaariye! Please sab dekh rahe hain please!" She told him for the third time in last 10 seconds.
"Dekhne do!" He cheered.
"Main gir jaungi Kartik!! Aahh! Please!" She kept pleading but he wasn't in a mood to listen.
A naughty idea kicked in his mind.
