Kartik reached at some place and parked his car. He came out and held a railing along the seaside.
He went forward on the beach and sat on a rock. He stared at nothing in particular.
He closed his eyes and saw her face, maybe he wouldn't see that face for a few days or maybe weeks. He felt sad at the thought. He remembered their moments spent on the beach.
All of a sudden his lips broke into a huge smile.
He could take her with him!
Couldn't he?
He took his coat and drove back to Goenka villa.
There was no one in the main room. He thought everyone else was in their own rooms and he raced to his room.
Swarna and Akhilesh were standing near the door.
It obviously looked absurd.
"Kuch kaam tha aap logo ko?"
They remained silent.
Something was definitely fishy.
"Any problem?" He asked again.
Swarna looked towards Kartik and Naira's room with the corner of her eye and Kartik noticed it.
"N-naira?" He stuttered.
"Aahh.." Kartik heard.
Without wasting even a second he barged into the room.
Naira was smiling.
He saw a male doctor by her side.
There was a bandage on her ankle.
The doctor was cracking lame jokes and Naira was laughing her heads off.
"Naira?"
He came infront.
She looked at him and smiled briefly unaware of the consequences.
He bombarded her with so many questions at once. He didn't give them a chance to answer.
"Kartik...Kartik..." but he kept on blabbering.
"Kartikkkkk!"
He stopped finally.
"Main seedhiyon se fisal ke gir gayi thi...aur mere paer mein ek chota sa fracture hua hai." She explained with a calm expression.
"Kai-"
He opened his mouth to say something again but she cut him off.
"Shushh...finger on your lips!"
And he obeyed her orders like a good boy.
"Woh seedhiyon par tel gira hua tha jo maine nahi dekha."
He furrowed his eyebrows wanting to speak.
The doctor out of no where started laughing.
"Keep it up Mr. Goenka! Biwi se darr ke hi rehne mein hi bhalai hai...aur Naira apne pati par thoda rehem karo yaar..." The doctor started laughing again.
Kartik was annoyed.
"Doctor koi medication wagera jo Naira ko deni ho?" Said Kartik losing his patience.
