"I love you Jimin."
I gazed into his eyes and slowly ran my hand through his soft, dark hair.
"I love you more."
He leaned forward and kissed the tip of my nose.
"Oh really?" I raised my head and propped it up on my hand as I stared back at him.
"Yes. And I always have and I always will. No matter what happens to us."

His soft, warm lips melded to mine as Jimin wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him.

Just then there was a quiet knock on the door as it slowly slid open and Jimin's mom poked her head into the room causing us to quickly pull apart.

She said something in Korean before closing the door.

Jimin smiled before translating.
"She said its time for dinner."

Jimin moved here from Korea when he was 12 with his mom, dad, and older sister for his dad's job. In Korea he went to a bilingual school so him and his sister both speak english and Korean. We met three years ago at an Ice cream shop in the summer right before the start of our freshman year of high school. Three weeks into school he asked me to out on a date. Two weeks later he asked me to be his girlfriend and we've been dating ever since.

"Well we'd better go eat then Jimin."

"Mmm. But I don't want to move." He said as he pressed his face into my neck

"If we eat fast enough we can always come back up here."

At that, he practically jumped off of his bed and out the door.

I shook my head, laughing as I slowly followed him out and down the stairs.
Dinner was almost silent due to the fact that Jimin's dad wasn't there, and Jimin spent all of 7 minutes shoving food into his mouth.

After that he started to steal food off of my plate, but I slapped his hand away before he took too much.

Once I was done Jimin and I carried our empty plates to the sink, leaving Jimin's mom at the table to finish while reading her book.

Just as we were about to go back upstairs, the front door opened and Jimin's dad walked in.

As he walked in he froze at the sight of us standing at the bottom of the stairs.

Sadly, Jimin's dad went to the same school in Korea when he was a kid so he could speak English.

"What is she doing here? I thought that we discussed that I would be informed before she ever came over."

"Sorry. It was last minute father."

"Obviously. Don't let it happen again. I want to be home when you are both home, your mother is too lenient. Now go. You have one hour and then she is going home."

We turned and hurriedly climbed the stairs and shut the door to his room once we were inside.

As you can probably guess, Jimin's dad doesn't like me. And the only reason is because we're dating. Before we dated he loved me, but everything changed when he found out. And its all because I'm not Korean. His father wants him to marry a Korean girl to continue family tradition. But Jimin loves me, and his father is just going to have to deal with it. Or at least I hope he does.
