"Baekhyun, Lee, Both of you come here."
"Coming!" We both said in unison. Then Baekhyun grabbed my hand and pulled me forward as we ran towards his mom.
I was at the zoo with Baekhyun and his mom. I was 4 while Baekhyun was 8. The two of us were being very rambunctious and running all over.
"Have you guys seen the tigers yet?" Baekhyun's mom asked us.
"No, let's go!" I yelled as I grabbed Baekhyun's arm and pulled him along as we ran to the tiger enclosure. Tigers were Baekhyun and my favorite animals, and we loved seeing them.
As we ran away Baekhyun's mom was yelling at us to come back and walk with her, but we didn't listen.
We had finally reached the tiger enclosure. And there was no one else around.
"Lee! Look at the babies!" Baekhyun said pointing into the enclosure
"Let's go down there and pet them!" I said.
"Yeah! Let's go!" Baekhyun said in response.
The two of us started to climb over the fence and climb down the ladder into the enclosure. Once Baekhyun got down to the bottom, he helped me down. Once we got to the ground all of the tiger cubs ran over to us.
"They're so soft Baekhyun!" I said as I started giggling when one of the cubs started licking my hand.
Both of us kept laughing as the cubs ran around our feet. We sat there for a couple more minutes until Baekhyun spoke up. "Come on Lee we should probably go."
"Okay." I said with a sigh. Baekhyun started up the ladder first and then just as I was about to start climbing I heard a sort of growling sound. I turned to see what it was and I saw a full sized tiger rushing towards me.
"Baekhyun!" I screamed as I jumped to the ground and covered my head.
"Lee! I'm coming!" Baekhyun said as he jumped down off the ladder and ran to me. He laid down on top of me on the ground, shielding my body with his.
We sat there waiting to be attacked by the tiger. I was bawling while Baekhyun tried to shush me. After a minute or two nothing had happened so I looked up.
And to my surprise I saw the tiger sitting right infront of us just sitting there. It got up and walked towards us, so I put my head back down. Then I felt it sniffing us, it felt like just like when my dog did it. That's when in happened, and I screamed because of it.
He licked me. I sat up in disgust, forgetting about the tiger possibly attacking us.
"Ewwwwww! Baekhyun it licked me!"
Baekhyun laughed as he hugged me. "It didn't attack us! We're alive!"
"Baekhyun, I want to go home now."
"Alright let's go."
I turned to look at the tiger. She was sitting there watching us. I don't know what made me do it, but I walked towards her and reached out my hand. At that she put her head down and let me pet her. I looked into her deep eyes as I pet her and whispered "Thank you."
"Come on Lee, let's go." Baekhyun said as he grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the ladder. "You go up first, I don't want to leave you here." He said as he helped me get up onto the ladder and then climbed up behind me. Once we got up and out of the enclosure, back on the path the two of us walked hand in Hand down the path until we saw Baekhyun's mom running towards us.
"You two had me worried sick! But thank God you're okay." She said as she pulled both of us into a hug.
"That's enough of the zoo for one day, let's go home."
