After the siren was greeted by the family's wave of happy-smiling servants, Vaeludar watched as her face was glittering with hope. A hopeful future with a group of people he was brought into seventeen years ago. He didn't have the same experience he had when he was welcomed in the house, and he was an infant left on the house's doorstep.

He felt no remorse or hard feelings for the siren, and he wasn't going to think of what will happen to the siren when the wife of the household's Head finds out. The wife of Geraldus and the assumed second-in-command of the household and a high-in-demand woman of a high stylishness. A woman with no flawed but a flawed personality when it comes to the highest of perfection of living a life in a high lifestyle.

Vaeludar thought he could warn Marina, but he saw the siren seeing the style of warm-welcoming people. They didn't seem to mind the siren, which is a monster capable of eating human flesh, was a member of the family now. However, he was curious how she will deal with the person who has a hostile personality in the family: Geraldus's wife.

Rhiannon was her name. She looked rather of an evil person with an annoying heart of a high-held queen and an absolute perfectionist. She basically took over the leadership of the family, and everyone fears her. Even Geraldus could barely stand against the woman he married, and everyone wondered how she gave him a son and two daughters.

While everyone seemed to keep their distance from the "queen" of the household, Vaeludar was the only member to stand against her womanly wrath, and he was the "hybrid head" of the household. They always meet eye-to-eye as to two hostiles ready to do battle. When she spoke about a minor thing like a scratch on a wall, there always was a full-complete compliance screeching from her mouth.

She always complains about ever small detail how appearances should look, but Vaeludar bites back of asking "What's the point about something if it isn't a human creature like yourself?"

The question always took the household of surprise, and it quieted the woman. For everyone who sees Vaeludar and Rhiannon were of complete opposites, and they had the same mental strength to butt heads with words. Everyone in the household never had the mental strength to argue against the second-in-command of the house, but Vaeludar was the only who dared to argue about every of Rhiannon's complaints.

Too many times he showed a superior strength than a human's annoyance of complaining words, by flaring out fire from his mouth. He burned a wall once when she complained about a scratch only to make it bigger to have a hole in the wall with a giant scorched mark.

It only made things worse when Rhiannon got over reacted with more annoyance of seeing a single clay mark into a giant hole made from an asteroid. She made no hesitation to shout out the top of her lungs, and everyone in the hall heard her demanding voice.

Vaeludar made no reaction when Rhiannon shouted at him, and he just smiled when he saw her showoff her typical reaction when a small problem became a colossal problem. He saw ten years old when he started her off, and then he went to show a little magic spell against Rhiannon.

With no special training and never received any training, he waved a hand, made a beat of his wings, and the burnt wall was magically fixed and no scraps or scratches had been done. This still haven't kept the woman quiet as she witnessed what the hybrid did, and she snapped of him of being a part of the family.

And he always responded, "And as long as you stay married to Geraldus, I am a member of the family as it is her husband's choice to be called a 'son' of Geraldus."

Vaeludar made quite comments to Rhiannon that made her go beyond berserk, and he would suddenly calm down. For this mysterious "bond" they both share, it always started with a hostile prick, Vaeludar makes a pick bigger, causes Rhiannon to make a giant fuss that shouldn't even be, and it ends with Rhiannon seeing a little magic trick and walks off.
