Both Vaeludar and Ralenskrit's jaws dropped. Father and son! A reunion between parent and child. Vaeludar thought his father was dead, but he survived an ideal encounter, but it wasn't quite the encounter Vaeludar never thought was to happen.

"You are my son?" and "You are my father?" were spoken in unison between father and son. Both were in confusion as to having not seen each other in eighteen years now. A heavily wounded dragon and a dragon hybrid were now witnessing what the other looked like.

Vaeludar was the first to speak. "Where have you been in all this time if you have been alive?"

"Where have I been, you ask? Where else would I lurk? In this cave. Hiding from the world. Hiding from the one who did me harm. And the one who killed your mother."

"Lusìvar!" Vaeludar sneered. "And how did you survive the encounter?"

Ralenskrit knelt on his belly. His three legs made it difficult for his body that appeared to have broken bones and in a severe manner, and his scars were large enough like cuts in a loaf of bread.

"It was the night we left you at Geraldus's house," Ralenskrit screeched as he weakly lied his body on the ground. His breathing was intense as his joints seemed to have been damage as well, and half his tail had been cut long ago. "The night you were also were born."

"I read Belverda's message, and with regret, Geraldus is dead," Vaeludar stated.

Ralenskrit's eye looked with grieve and looked at Vaeludar. "How? He was the best fighter in Shimabellia, swordsman and magician. Even Lusìvar could be able to match him since... Belverda was a magician, not a soldier."

Alfhild stepped forward. She explained King Uragiru has declared Geraldus a traitor and the king has gone mad and likely joined forces with Lusìvar. She added in his son died from sirens, but he still had a daughter to carry on the royal bloodline, but his grieve turned him into a madman. She gave an explaining during the course of battle a stampede nearly overtook his village, and he saved both his wife and youngest daughter, but ambushed by a dark mage, and many witnesses saw it happen. It was mostly people of the elves and dwarves joining with Geraldus's army to rebel against the king's forces.

"And they outnumber the clans and Geraldus's army, but my clans outmatch theirs since dwarves are sturdy and strong and the elves greatest sorcerers."

Ralenskrit sighed.

"He has appeared again. The one I fought against and turned me into this." Ralenskrit rolled slid his body to show more scars, and one deep enough to have penetrated his left ribcage, and surely a hole that could have killed him. His deepest wound scarred the others and even Vaeludar.

"Now he has appeared again and taken the life of another comrade, as he did your mother the night, she gave you to him. The night she left behind. The night I tried to kill him, but I almost got killed. He is too powerful.

"It was a rainy night you were born. I turned myself into a human... and had you. In the laboratory, it was discovered the plague that nearly killed humanity was invented in that laboratory. Your mother and I did everything we could and fought off against the heretics who threatened all humans. I was a dragon, and I only burned them all.

"Belverda did all the heavy work, researching how the plague was made and how it come be undone. She spent many weeks researching from what... inferno knowledge she found, and she crated a cure. I used my flight to procure the cure around Shimabellia, and the humans were saved.
