  Here she was again, scrolling through her Instagram feed, smiling and giggling at the amazing reviews she had been getting from her mostly 'Gen Z' clientele. She bit on her lower lip, sighing in contentment just as she reminisced on all she had to go through before getting to where she was.

TL Couture, was fast becoming a force to be reckoned with in the region and with the publicity she was getting, it would definitely soar beyond it. Lola was grateful, as always, for not everyone had the opportunities that she had, she couldn't call herself lucky, she was just a product of Grace.

She decided it was about time she put her phone down. Screen time was over and it was about time she got to work. Just before she could log out and get back to work, a message popped up on her screen.

'Why aren't you taking my calls?'

She sighed irritatedly, his tone sounded commanding and she did not like it one bit. Yes, she had been ignoring his calls and leaving his messages on read. He had not acknowledged his fault and she wasn't going to respond to him until he came to his senses and apologised properly. By that, she meant, in person. She never got to see him anymore and it raised her anxiety.

What if...? What if they were drifting apart? What if whatever it is that they shared was slowly coming to its end? She shut her eyes and shook her head vigorously. She couldn't allow those thoughts find a footing in her mind. No, not at all.

"David's gonna come around. He will, he just has to miss me first." She nodded her head in approval, reassuring herself.

She got up soon after, pushing her thoughts to the back of her mind and heading out of her office to supervise her apprentices as she usually did.

Things are going to fall into place, there's no need to fuss. She thought.
