The Awkward Day

Amity's Pov

Oh man...

Why?

I totally got carried away yesterday. I mean...I definitely had fun. It was the most fun I had since a long while.

There's nothing l regret about that day.

Or...sorta.

I'm not sure if giving that kiss to Luz was the right thing!
I wasn't thinking at all! My body did it on its own!
I didn't even think what she would think!

What if she didn't like it? I did it without her consent!!!

"Hey Mittens. Are you alright? You've been steaming all morning" Edric points out my stressful life at the moment.

"Yea. Your face looks like it's about to blow up bestie" Emira says.

I just pace around the livingroom, "i-is it really? I'm not trying to look like an idiot when I'm about to go out."

"Yea! Like a volcano! Ready to burst!" Edric shouted.

.....

"I think I might just call it off. Tell her I'm sick...or busy.." I rubbed my face with my hands.

"Ugh, don't listen to this knuckle head" Emira bonked Edric on the head with her hand.

"Ow!"

"What you truly need to know, is that you're fine!" Emira pat my head.

"R-Really?"

"Yes!" "No-"

Emira hit Edric again but harder.

"oW!"

"Stop ruining Mittens special day!" Emira shouted at him.

"Special..? It's just a casual day out-"

"This day! Marks the day Amity Blight! Will confess her true feelings to her fr-"

"NO!!" I shouted. My face was burning! "I-It's not like that!"

Emira just smiled, "whatever you say sis. Just go out there, and shine brighter than ever!"

"Yea! Brighter than your red face!" Edric added.

"That was a good one, so I'm not hitting you this time."

With my hand, I grabbed my bag that was set on the couch.

"Good luck Mittens!" Emira and Edric both said.

"Yea...I'll sure need it" I told them as I walked to the door.

I didn't want to rush things. So I walked my own pace to the park me, Luz and the others are supposed to meet at.

While walking, i just couldn't stop thinking stuff out.
It was soooo overwhelming.

What am I supposed to say? It's going to be really awkward between us now!
