CHAPTER 11

It was a whirl wind of school activities come Monday. My Anatomy class that I had been stressing out? I aced it. With a very satisfied grin, the three of us, Pha, kit and myself made a 3-man high five. I also gave them both a very soulful bro hug. This two would be my very missed if I did die that time.

Yes, I was not fed to the dogs thank you very much, because I accepted the offer. Why not? It was a good one. I was sent home by Art and a driver. While on the road, Art gave me a brief overview of my contact. It's just a basic contract indicating that I will have to do a return of service after I graduated and have my license already.

I can feel that Art only has few chosen information that he could share with me by the way he was awkward if I had some question. So as not to poke the sleeping bear, I just let it go. The less I know about them, for now, the better. I guess.

When I arrived at my dorm, I found it deserted and a sticky note from kit on the fridge saying he will be out with Ming. I was tired but not the physical tiredness, but I think it is more of emotional one.

I jump into my bed and was ready to just sleep everything that had happed, but I need to study. I dragged my sleepy ass to the bathroom and took a short but refreshing shower. Then I studied all afternoon to catch.

Then it was Wednesday, the middle of the week, that I decided to try and talk again with Forth. I decided to go to the engineering food court for lunch because 1st, the tom yum is good there and 2nd, I will talk to Forth. Pha and Kit will be eating out.

I was in the engineering faculty entrance when I saw Forth. I saw him but he didn't. and in his arm is a petite girl. Good size boobs, nice ass, curly seductive hair but I can't make out the face since she has her back at me.

I felt funny again. I don't know where it came from, but I felt a little out of breath, so I decided to just return to meds food court and eat there. When classes resume, Pha and Kit noticed my silence and started to bother me with questions, so I just told them I'm bored and wanted to visit the bar. We decided to do it by Friday night.

Friday night came and I was preparing in my room since kit practically moved in with Ming. Which actually made sense because Ming always fetches him anyways and I was left to drive Kit's car instead. A soft knock in my door brought me out of my thoughts. I wasn't expecting anyone since we agreed to just meet in the bar.

When I open the door, I saw a smiling Pran. Dimples and all. I wasn't surprise anymore that he knew where I live.

"Hey! Pran! What are you doing here?" – I said excitedly. I was really happy to see him since his been good to me when I was still in that mansion.

"Wow, Beamie, I never thought you would be happy to see me!" – he exclaimed.

"hehe, of course. You were my breath of fresh air when I was still in the mansion. Where's your partner? The one that has trust issues?" – I said

"I'll tell Pat you have a pet name for him." -Pran. Then we both laugh

"So, what brought you here?" I ask

"Oh, you forget this..." he showed me the content of the paper bag he is holding and on top of my neatly folded jeans and shirt is my underwear.

I don't know what made me do it, but I just curiously look to my right and saw a very angry Forth both hands in his pockets, but the fisted hands bared it all. I don't know what made him look like he could murder anyone who crosses his path, but he just stared at me, turn around and walk away without a single word.

"Who's that? He looks really mad" Pran commented. I just shrugged. I still didn't forget my wasted effort from the day before only to see him having a hot girl in his arms.

"Anyways, you look like you have somewhere to go so I will not be taking much of your time na, Beam" – he added after a while.

"I will just be having drinks with my friends; would you like to Join?" – I ask

"No thank you. Maybe next time. Pat is waiting for me downstairs and we need to go back to the Boss. See you around, Beamie!" he said cheerfully and wave goodbye.

"Lets' go down together. I also need to get going. My friends are all waiting for me." I quicky put down the paper bag inside my room and took my keys, cellphone, and wallet.

I arrived at our usual bar and Pha, Kit, Yo and Ming is already waiting for me. I can feel someone watching be but maybe I'm just being paranoid. I was robbed and then threatened to be fed to the dogs just a week before.

I purposely stride to the waiting group. The moment I sat down, Ming already is handing me some booze and I immediately accepted and drank it all in one gulp. Why was he angry? Damn that guy for making me feel bad. He looks mad and sad at the same time for a short time and damn me for overthinking again and thinking about him" I trailed inwardly.

"He looks good though in his black shirt. Those biceps were not just for show. I should know because I rode them. I smiled inwardly.

"P' Beam, are you in love?" -Yo curiously asked

The scene in front of me was very hilarious but I couldn't laugh. Pha, who's in the middle of drinking from his glass cough loudly and was almost choking to death. Poor Yo was rubbing his back and soothing him.

Kit froze mid-air. He was in the middle of putting some snacks in his mouth but with his bulging eyes he stops everything he is doing and looks like a deer caught in the headlight. Ming is laughing so hard because of Pha and Kits reaction he almost toppled over our drinks while holding his stomach.

I, as I mention earlier cannot laugh, because I did both. Bulging eyes and coughing really hard. I think the booze got into the wrong pipe. Yo, red in the face, profusely apologized. He wasn't expecting that kind of reaction from all of us.

It took a good all five minutes to calm everyone down. Ming still has some tear in his eyes from laughing and Yo was still red. Yo explained his reason why he asks if I'm in love, but I just dismissed him. Although I have to admit, his words struck a chord in me.

"P' Beam, you're always distracted and sometimes you muttered to yourself, you also smile a sweet one once in a while, so it thought you are seeing someone."

Pha and kit's sharp questioning eyes found me and I instantly sober. This would be nasty. How can I explain something I don't understand also?
