CHAPTER 16

Forth was beaming and my heart skip a bit. We are now again in a standoff as he was stupidly grinning at me. I was also very much happy with this talk.

I feel sorry for his cheek the way he grins. That must have hurt. After a while, Forth suddenly makes serious expression while still looking at me. I remember this look. That was the reason for all of this. This was the look he gave me, and we ended up in Lams' room.

As if under a spell, he slowly inched closer aiming for my lips. Not so fast Jutarapoom. I said inwardly. When he was already in my personal space, I give him a good punch in the stomach to wake him up, which was a little harder than I intended to.

He coughs and was taken aback by my sudden attack. He didn't see that coming.

"That's for my bleeding, bruised lips and you might want to rethink about getting anywhere near my lips again, Jutarapoom. I don't think we want a repeat of what just had happen, do we?" I sassily inform him and flick his forehead for a good measure.

I think I did it more for me to stop what could have been a messy and hot make out session in the very open car park. I don't want to be recorded and star in an amateur porn video thank you very much!

I then started walking towards the bar to join my gang and torment Pha a little more to ease my racing heart. Damn this Jutarapoom and the way he makes me feel.

Forth jog to catch up to me and held me to stop before entering the bar.

"Thank you, Beamie. This means so much to me" He started sincerely. "and you sure have a powerful punch, damn it. I think I broke some ribs." He added and had an amused expression in his face.

I only smiled back at him as we enter the bar together.

I found Pha at the table, hunched back looking deserted while Yo is rubbing his back comfortingly and is murmuring something. Kit is not any better and Ming is also comforting him. Park and Lam saw us first and had an amused expression in their face. They both gave Forth a knowing smile.

"So, is it safe to assume that we won't be seeing a very wasted Forth almost every night and would pick a fight even with a dust bin for not closing properly?" Park in his signature teasing tone. Lam just shake his head in resignation at Parks' antics but with a satisfied smile.

Pha, Yo, Kit and Ming automatically looks up and was on their feet seconds later. Pha and Kit tentatively walks up to me while Yo and Ming behind them respectively.

"Spare me Pha with your explanation but I'll keep tabs on this one" I interrupted Pha when he almost says something, and I smiled at him and kit. They both understood quickly that I forgave them. We are friends and I know they always looks out and wanted the best for me more than anyone else.

Pha gave me a lopsided smile while Kit smiles sweetly showing me his dimples. They both gave me a pat in the back while Yo gave me a hug.

"In our defense, P' Forth looks scary and ready to kill us if we deny him what he wanted when he approaches us. I cannot say no because I respect him and feared him. Ming feared him more because he is his senior, I cannot leave my best friend na P'! Please forgive us P Beam!" Yo whispered to me while hugging me. Automatically looks at Forth but he was now busy joking with Park and Lam.

Yo release me while Ming gave me an apologetic smile, they then joined they boy friends in the couch. The couch is big, but they are all in pair and the only space left is besides Forth. He looks at me, smirks and patted the empty space beside him. I rolled my eyes at his antics and started walking to a laughing Forth. I also smack his head before sitting down.

"Thank you for giving my bull of a friend a second change. Park was saying the truth earlier. All of it unfortunately. And as his friend, I was sad seeing him in that state. He hasn't laugh this hard since the night we were drinking at my place" Lam, who's at my left leaned and whispered to me. I only have him a nod.

"Let's all drink the drama away! Drinks on Forth!" Park shamelessly announced with a thundering voice and Lam gave him a smack while all of us was just laughing at his stupidity. I like my growing group now.

We were enjoying the night away and at some point, Park started to have a stupid contest with Ming. They are trying to fit as much marshmallow into their mouth, my friends are morons, and they look like a hamster with bulging cheeks.

The rest of us are just cheering them. Sometime along the night Kit and Pha started to play catch. They each took turns in catching the other peanuts being thrown into them but since we are starting to get drunk, the peanuts were all over us.

"Are you trying to get me drunk and take advantage of me because I can still pack a punch even in this state." I quietly informed Forth when, for the nth time, he attentively put more booze to my now empty glass. He only raises his hands in surrender but continues with what his doing. He was very attentive with my every need the whole night. And I like it. Very much.

We were getting a bit rowdy with each passing time, and I don't mind it at all since Forth has his hands in my keens tracing circles. I tried stopping him because it is tickly, but he only stops for a minute and then continues again the next minute. I stopped myself from stopping him because, blaming the alcohol, I started to enjoy it.

It was almost 2 am when we decided to call it a night and started to finished up. Pha is wasted and Yo is being dutiful in assisting him. The poor little guy is taking care of this giant. Kit is sober while Ming is tipsy. He always pokes Kits' dimple, but Kits looks like he doesn't mind.

Did I mentioned that this engineering guys can really drink? Park only is a little tipsy but still very much coherent while Lam is just a little red in the face. Forth. Of course, the mighty Forth is nowhere near drunk. Me? I can still recite the alphabet in alphabetical order. Opppsss. That doesn't sound right. Haha I think I'm a little bit tiny weeny drunk.

Hello everyone! I would just like to say that school is already in full swing so, I don't think I can update as much as I did this last week. I was in a writing frenzy you see. Anyhow, I will try my very best to update at least 2 chapters per week. more if I can manage it. I'll try to stick in this schedule (Wednesday & Sunday).
