Chapter 1

Mikyala's POV

"Eviction notice ?" I mumbled to myself as I opened the letter that came in the mail today . I sat in my kitchen reading what was written and turns out I have fourteen days to pay the deposit otherwise I'm getting kicked out .
And what's worse I got fired last night for arriving three minutes late to work . I begged my boss to give me a another chance but he was to strict.

I didn't love a good life which explains why I'm in this position, to my mom kicking me out form having an argument with my best friend whom I haven't spoken to in forever .
I've been on my own for quite a while now and let me tell you how depressing it was . It messed up with my mental health quite a lot till the point I had to start taking medication since it was so bad .

I had an older brother but he lived near Detroit which was four hours away from where I live and let me tell you he's more successful than I could ever be . He's married with two kids and owns a business selling cars . He rarely spoke to me since he has his own family to focus on and I understand that it just kinda hurts because it feels like he's forgotten about me .

I feel like everyones forgotten about me I'm not even that special anyway. Snapping out of my thoughts , I looked up at the clock in front of me , it was only the evening meaning I still had time to decide wether I was gonna look for a job or stay at home and get kicked out .
