Chapter 42

Mabel's POV

One week later

It was a Thursday afternoon and the house was quiet mostly because the boys had gone out to the warehouse to do something and Mikayla went out to meet her friend Kayla or whatever her name was . I wasn't by myself unless you count the bodyguards that I always annoyed since I had nothing else to do .

I didn't wanna go outside either since the weather wasn't exactly pleasant , and plus I recently came off my monthly so I wasn't exactly in the greatest mood . I was currently wondering around the mansion looking for some sort of entertainment but I couldn't find anything .

A couple days ago I spoke to Vince about going back to college since I wanted to graduate and get my life back on track , he said it was perfectly fine as long as I was safe he wouldn't mind , so I applied and I'm still on the waiting list they asked all sorts of questions as who my guardian was and the current address I was living at all the personal info which wasn't so hard to do .

"Leo?" I asked leaning over the balcony so I was above him , he looked up form where he stood and sighed "yes Mabel?"

"Is there anything fun to do here?"

"Depends we have a cinema room , the pool , gym, training room-"

"Training room?" I raised an eyebrow "I never knew about that where is it ?"

"Third floor second room but Mabel it's only for the dons men-"

"I think Sandro will let me off this one don't you think  you coming?" I asked walking towards the elevator since I couldn't be bothered to take the stairs , I heard my name being called which I chose to ignore since he would probably tell me not to go .

"This is so cool." I said to myself as I looked around there was an entire wall filled with different types of guns , and there was a shooting range right beside it , another wall was designated only for knives which I Assumed they practiced their throwing , there we're multiple crates which probably had more guns inside or whatever .

But something caught my eye which I wanted to try out , the row of firearms which hung in each rack separated from each other , I walked towards it attempting it to pull it off the wall yet it wouldn't budge .

Did they superglue it or something?

"It's locked." Leo said behind me and I rolled my eyes facing him "unlock it then."

"You need a fingerprint don't you see the scan right beside it ? This is a training room but these weapons are used in case of emergencies, and there not to be touched."

"Are you serious ? Please just this once I have nothing better to do Leo , I mean I'm not sure how you can stand next to a door for the entire day doing nothing ."

He chuckled "that's not my job , I'd just rather be in one place than have to deal with you annoying ass ."

"Your so rude." I huffed Folding my arms , Leo was only just a couple years older than me but I found it amazing how he had his entire life devoted to the mafia , he had blonde hair and bright blue eyes , he was taller than me but not as tall as Vince , he wasn't a bad looking guy but Vincenzo was way more hotter .

I reached for my phone which was vibrating in my pocket and answered the call the minute I saw the call ID . "Hello?"

"Hey baby you okay?"

"No im not okay." I frowned giving Leo a smirk as I waited for vince to respond "why what's wrong ?"

"I'm bored and I found out there was a training room and I saw this really cool firearm I wanna try out but Leo won't let me he said it's used for emergencies but I think he's lying because he thinks I can't use a gun."

"Hey I never said that." Leo spoke and I smiled  putting the phone in speaker hearing what Vince would say "he's not lying baby it's true , it's only used in emergencies-"

"Haha you see ?I told you I was right ."

"Shutup." I said bringing the phone up to my ear "but I'll let you use the pistol instead just this once okay?"

"Really?" I exclaimed

"Yeah, try not to hurt yourself I know how clumsy you are when it comes to stuff like this."

"I will be don't worry ."

"Good how are you feeling now ?" Vince asked totally reminding me how I kept complaining a couple nights ago how bad my cramps were , because they hurt like a bitch for some reason , maybe because I had just started.

"I feel better now , I just came off it anyways."

"That's good to hear."

"Yeah I know."

"I'll be home in less than an hour so try not to do anything stupid ."

"I won't I promise ."

"Okay I gotta go now."

"Mkay bye I love you." The call ended and I slipped my phone back into my pocket but then my eyes widened when it came to realisation to what I had said .

Fuck.

I just said I loved him , I mean I can't deny it but isn't it too soon?

I mean did he even hear me say it?

I don't think he did otherwise he would've said it back right ?
