chapter 13. cold shoulder

A tap on my shoulder make me turn back. There he is with two mugs in his hand. We both settled on the couch which is already present there with a table and a roof over. He handed my mug it's Hot chocolate. My eyes sparkled.

"Thankyou Kim Tae" I said. He just smiled in return. We both slowly sipping the hot chocolate and watching the sunset in a very peaceful way.

"Ella..." Taehyung broke the silence.

"Yeah .." I turned Towards him who's already facing me.

"Ellaa... I'm really sorry for what I did ... I mean ... You know all the things I said. It must've hurt you.... I'm sorry I thought you just came here for pass time and .. you know what ...

I'm wrong... You and Ian are very hardworking from the first day itself. ... I wanted to apologise to you a bit sooner but my ego got the best of me... I'm sorry Ella... Really am " taehyung said with guilt in his eyes.

I took a moment

" I don't blame you... I know how you feel when someone suddenly appears in your life and started becoming a part of it. I never held any grudge against you... To be honest I also thought you guys are just playing around with no seriousness and trying to go against the mafia. But after working with you these weeks you proved me wrong.

You peeps are sincere. And I admire how you give time and care for eachother. So ... There's nothing to worry about... I forgave you a long time you saved me ... A couple of times by now " I said looking into his eyes.

He slumped his shoulders. "Thankyou soo much Ella... Let's start over eh? Putting the bitter past of us behind??" Taehyung asked.

"Yeah... " I smiled widely.

He smiled widely in return. Oh my God what did just happened. My heart is gonna explode. It's the first time he smiled this widely at me and I'm seeing this for the first time literally sent tickles in my stomach. A Boxy smile is all it takes to tickle my heart I thought to myself.

"You know you're soo beautiful when you smile, you should smile often Ella" tae complimented. I kept the faint smile nodding turned towards the view enjoying.

Tae is now so happy. She's finally dropping her cold demeanor mask. And we get to see her cute side too.

He pulled out his mobile opened his camera and said cheese. We both took a selfie. "I want to keep this as a memory" he said making my me nod.

The sky turned dark blue and stars are twinkling.

"Tae... Why didn't you ask me ?" I said looking at him.

"Ask what?" He thought for a moment.

"At the bar ... And... Today" I said. He crossed his arms leaning more into the couch .

" I just thought time will reveal everything" taehyung replied. I hummed in response.

"Ella... I might not know what you went through, I might not know your secrets, I might not know you but,....."

He turned towards me "I'm here for you always... Please remember that... I'm here for you .... I'll protect you.. I'll be your cold shoulder " taehyung said concerned.

A thin watery layer formed in my eyes and soon it dropped. "Thankyou" I said.

"heyy.... Aisshh this girl"

he bought his hands to my cheeks wiping away my tears. He cupped my cheeks squishing them. I smiled through the pout. My face became a tomato. We both staring into eachothers eyes. His touch is like magic.
