Chapter 15

Becca's POV
"Ok, your mission is to find Alex Mandora. He's a specialized bomber and will kill himself if he has too. I need you to find him and bring him in. You'll be going to Brazil. You have three months to find him, and make sure to watch out for MESA agents. As far as we know MESA hasn't gone after him but we cant take that chance" Sargent said. I nodded. "Go pack and I'll see you tomorrow" she said. I nodded and left. This is my final exam. I'm nervous.

I'm on a facetime with Emma. "You're gonna do great! And when you come back you get to be here with me! I'm lonely" she said. I laughed. "Ill be there soon babe" I said. She smiled. "Shit! Gotta go! Good luck, love you" she said. "Love you too" I hung up and finished packing. It wasnt much but it was all I needed. I walked out of my room. "Do you have to go?" Hailey asked. "Yes, I'll be back" I said. I hugged Hailey and Marley. "Bye, love you" I said. "We love you too!" They said. "Bye Kelsey" I said. She waved.

Marley's POV
"Why are we here?" I asked. "Becca's live" Hailey said. "What? Its only been four weeks?" I said. We walked into the viewing room and the screen of her glasses and suit cam came on. "What the hell?" I said.

Becca's POV
Ok I'm in a tight spot. I found this Alex dude. He's in his car right now. I'm on my motorcycle driving next to him. I cant get a clear shot at him. He's got a bomb ready in his lap. "Shit, shit, shit, what would Emma do?" I asked myself. The idea popped into my head. "This is gonna hurt" I groaned. I put the bike on auto drive and jumped off it. I jumped into the cars open window. I landed in the passenger seat. Alex and I looked at each other for a moment. "Hi" I said nervously. I punched him and he punched back. I smashed his head into the window and held him there. I heard a beep. He had activated the bomb. I punched him again and he knocked out. "Whelp, you're dead" I shrugged. I threw him in the back seat and sat in the drivers. I couldn't stop the car. We were headed for the coastal boarder. Once we crash into that gate, we'll hit the water. I have to get the car in the water and not on land, then it cant hurt anyone. I looked down at the bomb. "Fuck my life" I said. I grabbed the bomb and jumped back onto my bike. I barely got on it. I attached the bomb to my bike. Right as we were about to hit the boarder I flung my bike into the car and jumped.

Marley's POV
She jumped. There was a huge explosion but it was out of view. We saw the blast of smoke and fire. It hit Becca and the glasses cam went out. We saw her suit cam hit the water and then that cam went out. "Check her stats" I said. Everything we had on Becca was gone. She was off the grid. Silence fell over the room. Hailey put her head in her hands and started to whimper. I sat in shock. "Don't think the worst. She could still be alive. Right?" Kelsey asked. "Theoretically yes. Becca was once a MESA agent. If they find out we lost her than they'll look for her immediately. We need to send a team out now" Sargent said. "Get Emma" I ordered. "What?" Kelsey asked. "Go get Emma!" I snapped. Kelsey ran out the door to get her. "You, Hailey, Kelsey, and Emma will go find her" Sargent said. "But what if-" she cut me off. "Lets not think about that" she said. I nodded.

Emma's POV
I'm sitting in a chair on my phone. The door opened. "Kelsey?" I asked. "Becca needs you" she said. "Becca's on her trip?" I said, confused. She bent down to me and whispered in my ear what had happened. My eyes widened. I got up and ran out the door. I ran all the way to the viewing room. I burst through the door to see Hailey whimpering and Marley holding her. My eyes started to water. I sat down next to Hailey and put my head on her shoulder. "We're gonna find her" Marley said. I hope she's right.

Marley's POV
We all went to a capsule and set off in our submarines. These are more aerodynamic then the normal ones. We sped to Brazil. I hope she's not dead.

It took us two days to get here. Kelsey is searching the surface. Hailey is on the coral reefs. Emma is on the ground level. I'm deep into the water. I put on the intercom. "Hey girls I found a cave. It has air in it. Should I check it?" I asked. "Do it" Hailey said. I went in and the sub dropped into the air pocket. The waters were very shallow. I opened the top of the sub and turned on my headlights. Its dark as shit. "Becca!" I yelled. I didn't hear anything but my own echo. I kept going throughout the cave. I hit land. I got out of my sub and walked around with a flashlight. I saw something move. I didn't know what it was. "Becca?" I asked hopefully. I'm scared. "Took you long enough" she said, softly. I ran over to her and hugged her. She's sitting on the ground. "I thought you were dead" I kissed her. "No, I'm just a little weak" she said, her voice barely above a whisper. I went to pick her up but she stopped me. "What is it?" I asked. "My leg. I cant move it" she said. I nodded. I gently picked her up. She's tall but she weighs nothing. She nuzzled into my neck. I can tell she's tired. I put her in the passenger seat of the sub and started to drive back. I had to go slow. "Becca what happened?" I asked. "I woke up down here. I don't know" she shrugged. I nodded. I put the dome back over us and went back into the actual ocean. Becca fell asleep quickly. "Girls, I got her" I said into the intercom. "And?!" They said in anticipation. "She's alive." I said. They cheered. "Can she hear us?" Emma asked. "No, she's passed out but we're coming back now" I said. We drove back to California.

Becca slowly opened her eyes. She's in her bed. Sargent said to make her comfortable. "Hey bec. You feeling better?" I asked softly. "Not really" she said quietly. "Just tell us whatever you need. We're here for you" Hailey said. Becca's left leg is broken. She has bruises and cuts on her arms and legs. She has scratches on her face and neck. "I need food" she groaned. She hasn't eaten in days. Shit! I'm an idiot. Emma ran to the kitchen. Her breath is shaky. Hailey kissed her forehead. "Don't ever do that to us again" Hailey said. Becca smiled weakly. I hope she's gonna be ok.

Becca's POV
I feel like shit. Its been a week. I get to roll in a wheelchair. Marley and Hailey never leave me alone. Its like they think I'll die if they leave for two seconds. Emma is in her corridor because she has to clean and whatever. The front door opened. "Good to see you awake Becca" Sargent said. I waved. "Well I have good news. You passed your final exam. You'll be moving in with Emma tomorrow. I really am glad you're ok" she smiled. I smiled back and nodded. She left. "Yay! You did it!" Marley and Hailey cheered.

Marley is asleep in my bed. I'm sitting next to her on my phone. I called Emma. She answered. "Hey" she said tiredly. "Did I wake you?" I asked. "No" she lied. "Ok, I'll let you go back to sleep but just know that I'm moving in with you tomorrow" I said. "Ok... Wait WHAT!" She shrieked. I chuckled. "Goodnight Emmy" I said. "Night" she said. I hung up. I can just imagine the confusion she's in right now. Its funny.

Marley and Hailey helped me get to sector 3. Not that I had a choice. They wouldn't take no for an answer. I opened the door and Emma stood there with a smile. "Hey baby" I said. She squealed. "I'm so glad you're here!" She said. Sarah and Ray moved out awhile ago so Emma's been alone. I can really see her excitement. The girls helped me set up my room. After awhile Hailey and Marley left. Emma leaned down and kissed me. "I never thought that I'd ever have to lean down to kiss you" she said. "Don't get used to it" I huffed. She laughed.
