Chapter 7

Becca's POV
I walked into the kitchen. Hailey is baking again. I went to the pantry, grabbed a fire extinguisher, and put it on the counter. "Wow. Thanks babe" she said sarcastically. "Last time you did this it didn't end so well" I said. She rolled her eyes and pulled a pan out of the oven. "What is that?" I asked. She stabbed it with a fork and handed it to me. I was hesitant but took it. "Holy fuck!" I exclaimed. "Is that a bad thing or a good thing?" She asked. "A good thing. You actually baked something edible!" I cheered. She rolled her eyes and scoffed. I kissed her temple. "I love you" I whispered in her ear. "Uh huh" she said not amused. "No? Not today?" I asked. She huffed and walked away. "Don't huff me" I said. She turned around walked up to me. She pulled my shirt down and kissed me. "Happy now?" She asked. "No" I smirked. She raised an eyebrow. "I love you" I said again. She rolled her eyes. "I love you too" she said.

Marley's POV
"Darling do you have my jacket?" I asked going into Hailey's room. I left it in here last time I was here. Sure enough Hailey is wearing it, curled up in a ball, asleep in her bed. I laughed a little and crawled into bed with her. I put my arm around her and fell asleep. She's so adorable when she gets needy.

When I woke up, my arm was still around Hailey. She's awake. I can tell. Her back is faced to me. "Darling you took my jacket" I said. "You left it. I didn't take it" she said. I chuckled. "You can borrow it for a bit" I said. "Thanks" she said. She turned to face me. I kissed her nose. She's still sleepy. "Why are you so tired today?" I asked. "I was up last night trying to fix my stun gun" she said. "Did you stun yourself?" I asked. "No" she said.

Its been a few days. "Hey darling could you help me? I think my stun gun isn't working too" I said. "Sure" Hailey said. I gave it to her and she sat at her desk. I sat on her bed and waited. After about twenty five minutes she handed it to me. "Here. All fixed" she said. "Thanks darling" I kissed her forehead. "You're welcome" she said.

Emma's POV
I haven't gotten much sleep. I don't wanna bother Hailey though. I usually sleep in her room but now I cant sleep at all. Hailey came into my room in the middle of the night. "Of course you're awake" she said. She sat down on the bed next to me. "Why haven't you been coming in?" She asked. "I don't wanna bother you" I said. "Its not bothering me baby" she said. I leaned on her shoulder. "I'm tired" I whined. "I can imagine" she said. We laid down and even with her here I couldn't fall asleep. After about fifteen minutes she spoke. "Why are you still awake?" She asked. "I'm stressing about work" I said. She smiled. "Baby work isn't something to stress about. Everything's fine. Just go to sleep" she said. I leaned into her and after awhile I fell asleep. I don't care what they say, even if they all keep saying it. Its not gonna be fine. I know it.
