Chapter 20

Becca's POV
Silver is doing good with training but no one trusts her. We do, but the other agents hate her. "Sil?" I asked. She's on her bed. "Hmm?" She asked. "Are you ok?" I asked. "Yeah" she sat up. "We have to meet with Sargent for our mission" I said. She sighed and walked out with me.

"Ok girls. You'll be chasing down Amanda Carls. She's basically just your average drug dealer" Sargent said. We nodded. "Lets hope that this time nothing happens when you're gone" she joked. Silver looked down. We walked to capsule 847. "Don't feel bad babe, it'll be ok" Marley said. Silver just nodded and got in the car.

Silvers POV
I love my girls. I love being with SAW but everywhere I go, I'm treated like shit. Unless I'm with my girls. It makes me feel dead inside.

"Where are we supposed to find this girl?" Emma asked. They're all trying to figure out how to find this Amanda person. We're parked in a parking garage. I looked out the window. "Uh girls?" I asked. They didn't hear me and continued arguing. I groaned and got out of the car. I put my glasses on and kept walking. I dont think they even noticed that I left.

I walked a little far. I stood next to a small light gray car. A woman got out. "With a name like Anderson, I figured you were a man" she said. "You'd like that" I said. She rolled her eyes. "Show me the money" she said. I grabbed her arm and spun her around. I put a handkerchief to her mouth and she passed out. I tied her up and threw her over my shoulder. I walked back to the car.

Hailey's POV
I looked over. "Girls!" I yelled. They all went quiet and looked over. "Where's Silver?" I asked. Silver opened the door and dropped a woman against the car. "You're welcome" she said. Our jaws dropped. Silver put her glasses on her head. "This is the chick right?" She asked. I nodded. "How did you? What?" Marley asked confused. "Get in the car" Emma said.

Becca and I walked into Sargent's office. She looked up from her phone. "Back already? That's a new record, especially for level 4's" she said. "We wanted to talk about that. You see ma'am, we were confused on where to find Amanda and while we were figuring it out, Silver left and found her in about two minutes" Becca said. "That's impressive. So what are you trying to tell me?" Sargent asked. "We think that Silver needs to be bumped up the scale" I said. She raised an eyebrow. "I've already brought Silver to this level and you want me to push her more?" She asked. "Silver is talented Sargent. And with all do respect, she needs to be challenged, and she wont get that here" Becca said. Sargent squinted at us. "I'll think about it" she said. We left.

Silvers POV
Two days ago, Sargent had me do a lot of tests. Both, on paper and physical. I walked out into the kitchen. I'm still sore. "Hey you" Marley said. She kissed my cheek. "Hey" I smiled. Hailey and Becca did everything they could to avoid eye contact with me, and finally it clicked. "Did you two know about Sargent putting me through those tests?" I asked. They looked at each other in a panic. "Yes" Hailey said. "Why did I have to do those?" I asked. Before they could answer there was a knock at the door. Marley answered it. A tall woman with long brown hair walked in. "Hello Silver" she said. I'm so confused. "Hi?" I said. "I'm Sargent Harrison" she smiled. I shook her hand. "I'm sorry, I'm very confused" I said. "We had you do a series of tests as you know. We were testing your intelligence and physical ability." She said. "So... did it pass?" I asked confused. She chuckled. "You got a seven" she said. "Oh" I said. I don't know what that means. She smiled at me. "Seven levels. Silver, you are applicable for Level 7 training" she said. My eyes widened. "What?" I asked. "Its entirely up to you whether you stay or go" she said. I turned to look at Becca. Becca, Hailey, Marley and Emma were all smiling and nodding yes. I turned to face Sargent. "Ok" I agreed. She smiled. "Pack your things. Ill come get you tomorrow" she left. As soon as the door shut my girls squealed. "You're a 7!" Emma cheered. "But that means I go to a different squadron" I said. "We know but this is gonna be good for you" Becca said. "Thank you" I said. They nodded.

Becca's POV
Its later. I walked into Silvers room. "Hey" I walked in and shut her door. "Hey" she smiled. I sat next to her on the bed. "Are you ok?" I asked. "Yeah, I'm just scared" she said. "Don't worry about it" I said. "Becca I'm so sorry" she said. "For what?" I asked. "In MESA, even before you left, I was drifting away. I'm sorry that I made it seem like you broke up with me when really, that had happened months ago" she said. "Its ok" I said. She smiled softly. "I just got you back and now I have to leave you" she said. "We're still together. And I'm sure that it'll work out" I took her hand. She looked over at me. She leaned over and kissed me. When she pulled back I was surprised. "What?" She asked. "That's the first time we've kissed since I left you years ago" I said. She blushed. "I love you Becca" she said. "I love you too" I said.

Sargent Harrison came and got Silver today. The door shut as she walked out. The girls went back to doing their everyday things. I just stood and stared at the door. "Becca are you ok?" Hailey asked. I ran out the door. I bolted down the hallway and grabbed Silver by the arm. "Becca! What is it?" She asked. "Marry me" I said. She hesitated but smiled and hugged me. I put my head in her neck. "Yes" she said. I smiled. Sargent Harrison smiled at us. She raised an eyebrow at me. "Sorry" I backed up. "Time to go Silver, you'll see Becca again" she said. They walked off.

I walked back into the corridor. "Where did you go!" They yelled worried. I chuckled. I had this planned for a different time but I guess I'm gonna do it now. "Girls? Will you marry me?" I asked. They were all taken back. "Isn't that polygamy? Isn't that illegal?" Marley asked. "YES or NO!" I yelled impatiently. "Yes!" They yelled back. I smiled. "Is that why you ran out there? To ask Silver?" Emma asked. I nodded. We all smiled. They all kissed my cheek. "We love you!" They said. "I love you too" I said with a laugh.

Yes, Polygamy is illegal in the US but for the sake of this story, its gonna be legal now.
