These weeks has been tough, preparing her own solo album, taking parts in dramas, rehearsing with the boys and having to face interviews..to say the least it was a lot. Yet, somehow Kiki didn't know how to tell them she needed a break. It was as if she a burden if she requested for what she needed the most. Not wanting to lag behind, not wanting to disappoint she held on, believing after her shooting of drama everything would be better again. It was hard though, trying to tell her hyungs everything was okay when it's not. Growing distant due to her busy schedule and pre-occupied mind. Having Lena now gone, a new manager that didn't know her so well. The new manager was kind and friendly yet it was different than the manager Kiki has grown used to. She kept silent, secretly hoping the boys wouldn't notice her lack of response to anything these days. Of course, she thought the boys didn't know, she thought she hid everything well. Yet, they knew something was off, something their maknae wasn't willing to tell.
"We need to talk to her." Hoseok rubbed at his temples once they saw Kiki dash into her bedroom after a quick hello. The other hummed in agreement, yet none of them made the first move. They were busy too, everyday they needed to train their vocals, prepare the upcoming album (in this story im saying they have a new album coming up..which I dont think is true but story plot you know!) dancing and interacting with others online . The group barley had time to sit down and have a talk. "Tomorrow, after practice we will." Namjoon replied, and that was final.
Next Day Dance Studio 3:
"She's late again?" Hosoek asked, annoy clear in his tone. "It's been 30 minutes..is Kiki for real?" He pushed out, slumping on the floor checking the clock once again. "Take it easy on her, she's got lots on her plate right now." Yoongi nudged him, passing over a towel. Just as he said that, Kiki pushed through the door panting. "I'm sorry, I-" Jin rushed forward, holding onto her and giving her water. "Breathe, it's alright." He said, rubbing her back soothingly. "Can we start?" Jimin asked, mad at her for showing up so late. Startled, she looked up. Not knowing what has gotten into Jimin she nodded, standing up and walking into position. "On the beats of three..." Hoseok said tapping his foot as the music started playing. Kiki tried her best to follow along, but from just getting back from shooting and not letting her hyungs know she didn't have an excuse for being slow. "I'm sorry, can I just listen to the song again?" Kiki asked once they finished one round of the dance. "Yeah sure." Yoongi said, unplugging the earbuds and passing them to Kiki. Smiling gratefully back she pressed play. Once again, she felt faint when hearing the song, and her mind went else where. "So, is the song good?" Jungkook asked peering at Kiki cautiously. "Huh? Ye-yeah..." She said snapping back into reality. "Oh god...Kiki are you serious? Can you please focus?" Jimin groaned. This time no one else said anything in defence for her. "Sorry.." Pressing play again Kiki tried her best to not slip into daze and focused on the song. The song was enjoyable, it had good beats, uplifting beats, however her head was turned into mush she can't think straight. Outside of her earphones she could faintly hear Taehyung complaining on how she took way too long and Jungkook saying nothing but nodding along. Not being able to take the blame and feeling fo guilt eating her up, the feeling of light-headedness once again hit her. Not wanting to cause a scene Kiki excused herself to the bathroom. She could feel the sharp eyes the boys sent her down her back as she walked out, the older hyungs tried going easier on her, trying to be understanding. However, even them were getting annoyed at her lack of response to their thoughts.
