"Our maknae looks up to our leader..."
Kiki was in her room, aimlessly scrolling through her phone, when there was a knock at the door.
"Kiki? Are you in there?" a voice asked softly, slightly muffled by the door.
"Yeah," she replied, curious about what he was going to say next.
"Can I come in?" "Sure." The door creaked open and the adorable maknae shuffled into Kiki's room, awkwardly gazing at his feet instead of the girl in front of him. "What is it?" she questioned. "I, uh . . . have something for you," Jungkook stammered and presented her with a small white box. Kiki almost melted into a puddle just because of the heart-wrenching look Jungkook was giving her. She took the box, eager to find what was inside. He watched her open it with hopeful eyes.
There was a pretty necklace inside with a sparkly pendant and Kiki gasped in amazement. "This is so pretty! Thanks so much Kookie!"
She ran into his arms, contentedly resting her head on his chest. She felt so warm and safe in his arms, like nothing could hurt her. The excited girl slowly pulled away and looked up at him. There was a smirk growing on his face as he hugged her back enthusiastically.
It took Kiki a second to realize the tall boy was also staring at her, his dark eyes shining with a glint of mischief.
"You're pretty , Kiki," he said slowly and quietly, his face trying not to laugh. Kiki sighed before asking.
"Jeon Jungkook what do you want-.." She asked knowing her Hyung will not simply compliment her. Especially the golden maknae.
"I wanted to know- if i can... if you can ask Joon to listen to my new album cover.." He said shyly looking down. Kiki deadpanned at him confused. "Hyung, you and Joon Hyung are so close why would you-?"
"it's a cover of his expensive girl.. I tried really hard learning the lyrics!" Jungkook said smiling and almost glowing. Kiki nearly spit her water out. "EXPENSIVE GIRL?"
She was cut-off by Jungkook shooting his puppy eyes towards her making Kiki soften. "I'll- think about it okay?" She said making Jungkook smile. "Don't just think- do it!" Jungkook said before processing to take the necklace. " If you don't I'll take this away-..." He said cheekily making Kiki lunge at him. " JEON JUNGKOOK!" The pair started fighting for the present with Jungkook repeatedly asking if she agrees.
Suddenly a knock was heard they sat down and untangled themselves just in time for the door to swing open, they didn't want their hyung to misunderstand what just took place. Especially since it was revealed Jk had a crush on Kiki at the start of their débute years. A few seconds later Jin strode in, an accusatory eyebrow raised. "What are you two doing in here?"
The two younger idols flusterdly glanced at each other. "Jin hyung! I was just giving Kiki a gift." He grinned cutely and held the box out pretending to not nearly kill her by hitting her with a pillow.
Jin's face softened and he said, "Alright. Hurry up because we have to leave in five minutes."
He exited the room and Jungkook turned towards Kiki. "I should go get ready," he muttered. He practically threw the box back into her hands and left with a quick, "Seeya soon! Remember to ask!"
She silently stood there in shock, just sorting out her thoughts for a minute.
