OhmFluke A Day II

Ohm woke up that morning to the sound of soft music playing softly in his ears. He smiles.

Every morning he'll be woken up by the soothing melody which his soulmate will play to help him wake up.

In his world, an unmated soulmate will be able to hear what music their other soulmate is listening to. And for Ohm, who hadn't met his soulmate yet, this was their way of communicating.

Ohm was brushing his teeth when the intro of a song he had never heard before blasted in his ears. He put both his hands on the sink, his toothbrush hanging dangerously from his slightly parted lips.

"That's unusual." He raised his eyebrows, when he made out a few English words that he knew from the song. He decided to shrug it off, continue brushing his teeth.

Fluke's eyes widened upon seeing the image played on the screen.

Few minutes ago, a classmate of his shared a YouTube link in the group chat. Thinking it was a video for study material, he opened the link. Instead, the YouTube link was actually a link for a music video of some western musician that he didn't know of.

"Lil Nas X." He read before pressing the play button as he decided to watch the video anyway. The video started innocently until a kiss scene appeared which startled him.

Fluke almost threw his phone, hoping his soulmate was not weirded out by his music selection today.

Ohm hopped into the white bus. The white bus was his only ride to school, it always arrived exactly 5 minutes after he left his house.

As usual, there was no longer a free seat in the bus, so he had to stand up and hold onto the railing that was the nearest to the door. The duration between his house and his school is 20 minutes, so he didn't really mind standing.

He turned on his phone, realizing he hadn't checked the class group chat this morning. He saw Boun share a YouTube link, he smirked, wondering what kind of prank his friend was playing since he never posted anything in the group before. He saw some of his girl classmates cursing at Boun as he scrolled down the replies. He reached for his headphone, deciding to open the link. Surprisingly, it was the same song that his soulmate listened to this morning. He frowned.

Fluke listened to his soulmate playing the same song his classmate posted 30 minutes ago.

Is he listening to this because of me, is he curious or is he mocking me?

He pouted in his seat. Just then he heard the male who was standing in front of him let out a soft gasp and he couldn't help but to lift his head and steal a look, thankfully the male was facing the front so his back was facing Fluke. However, because of the position, Fluke can see the screen of his phone and he himself let out a gasp when he saw the music video of the song he was listening before playing on the other male's phone.

I-Is he...

Unconsciously, before he can even think of it, his hand went ahead and tapped on the unsuspecting male.

Ohm felt a soft tap on his back and he turned around to look at the male seating behind him. He took off his head phone and asked, "Yes?" Instead of answering, the male instead took out his earphone and plugged it in before he pressed a random key on his phone.

Seconds later, Ohm can hear music in his head. This time it was a song by Ed Sheeran, Thinking Out Loud. Ohm was about to ask the other male on what's going on when the male turned his phone to show him his phone screen.

He widened his eyes when he saw the music video of Thinking Out Loud playing. "Y-You..."

Fluke can feel his eyes watering, he nodded his head.

"I found you."

"I found you."
