"Tawan! Hannah! Haru! P'Ohm is coming!"

I lifted my head when I heard Papa's voice and almost in an instant, I was lifted up from my very comfortable bed and into my human's arms.

Not that this wasn't comfortable but I'm fine where I was, thank you very much.

"Are you excited? P'Ohm is coming!" My papa, Fluke Natouch, or Fluke as what everybody calls him asked me, nuzzling my fur.

Am I excited? More like, he's the one who's more excited than me.

But being the cute and adorable little puppy that I am, I barked and licked his nose as a reply.

Papa chuckled and once again kissed my head before letting me down on my bed. Instead of making myself comfortable again, I went to my brother Hannah who was sitting by the window pane and lay down beside him.

We watched as papa Fluke began cleaning our toys and checking himself in the mirror. This always happens, when P'Ohm is coming over, Papa will be so excited and clean the whole house. Not like P'Ohm will check the house but he just likes to clean it.

Seconds later we heard Papa's cell phone ringing and Papa came running towards the said phone at a lighting speed. "Hello! P'Ohm!— Yes, they're here, don't worry.— No, I was just cleaning.— Okay! See you."

"He's using us as an excuse to come again, isn't he?" I turned to Hannah who was scoffing.

"Seems like it." I answered.

"P'Tawan! Haru doesn't want to play today." Haru said as he came from the kitchen, probably looking for more food.

"Then don't play." Hannah answered for me to which I nodded.

"But P'Ohm and Papa like it whenever Haru act jealous." Haru said, we may not be able to see it but he is definitely pouting. We didn't even know how and when it started, me and Haru fighting to get P'Ohm's attention, but once we saw how big the smile on Papa's face was when he did that, we just couldn't stop.

But of course Hannah never really cares, he's too much of a diva to be playing for us. But Papa loves him just as much and everybody adored him for that. Sigh. I wish I could be like Hannah.

"Then Haru can pretend to sleep." I said, trying to find a solution. The thing was, we don't really mind doing what we usually do, but lately, P'Ohm has been coming everyday. With the excuse of missing me.

Huh.

Who is he kidding? We know the real reason he came everyday was not because of me, but he pretends it is. I don't know why Papa believes him, but I guess papa was that gullible.

"Papa will get worried if something's wrong with Nong." Hannah said.

True, we don't want papa to be worried. "Just don't need to act already. Keep playing alone. P'Ohm only comes and plays with us for 5 minutes before they go and talk anyways." He added.

"Yeah, I guess I won't." Haru replied.

That's true, P'Ohm will call and tell papa that he's coming because he wants to play with us, but when he comes, he'll only play with us for 5 minutes before he and papa went upstairs to papa's room.

"Hannah, what was papa and P'Ohm doing upstairs? Tawan always hears them shouting, I mean, papa shouting and calling P'Ohm's name again and again. Is P'Ohm hurting papa?" I asked, curious. Haru seemed to have the same question as I did because he suddenly looked interested.

"Yeah yeah! Papa always sounded like he was hurt. Should we do something about it?" Haru said.

Hannah looked at us. "I don't know what they're doing but Papa seemed fine whenever they came back. So I guess everything is okay, right?"

Both Haru and I nodded. Few moments later, the front door opened and P'Ohm came. Papa greeted him so excitedly and so did P'Ohm.

And like usual, P'Ohm kissed each of us and played with us for a while before the two of them walked hand in hand to head upstairs, to papa's room.

It wasn't long before we started hearing noises from the room and that was our queue to go outside to the backyard. Papa's voice will always get so loud that it is just a distraction to us. So Hannah will always lead the way for us to the backyard.

One of these days, Tawan will find out what's happening in the room. If P'Ohm is hurting Papa, then Tawan, Hannah and Haru will hurt him back!

Don't worry papa, we'll protect you!
