A Repost

The raindrops were like soft little kisses that sent shivers down Fluke's spine, just like Ohm's kisses did to him. The light rain made the sweet smells of spring come out, invigorating the senses, like Ohm's scent.

Fluke smiled, realising all the similarities between Ohm and a light spring rain, making him love it all the more.

Fluke felt a tug on his hand, and he looked over at Ohm who had a mischievous glint in his eye, his grin still on his face. "What is it, P'Ohm...?" Fluke asked suspiciously.

Ohm just grinned all the wider and tugged on Fluke's hand again, pulling him into a sprint, laughter escaping from his lips when Fluke's eyes widened in surprise.

But soon Fluke was laughing along with him, trusting Ohm entirely as he ran and let himself be led by his lover down the streets that were slick with rain. Ohm winked and jumped, Fluke naturally following suit, before landing full-force in a wide puddle, the impact sending the water spraying in every which direction, covering their feet and legs with the cold water.

They both yelped from the shock of the cold water, but soon were laughing again and kicking the icy water at the other, acting very much like children. Fluke's feet were soaked and his socks and sneakers soggy from the water, but he really didn't care right now. He was having too much fun splashing Ohm to be bothered to worry about soggy feet or the fact that he was completely dirtying Ohm's white sneakers.

Soon there was more water on Fluke and Ohm than there was in the puddle, so they just smiled at each other and shook the water off before rejoining hands and continuing their walk down the street, Fluke blindly following Ohm.

They walked slower this time, no longer sprinting, just going about at a leisurely pace, enjoying the presence of the rain and each other. Fluke gave Ohm a glance and smiled, knowing that Ohm was definitely the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.

"P'Ohm?" Fluke said, tugging a little on Ohm's hand to get his attention.

"Hmm?"

"Where are we going?" he asked, his curiosity finally getting the better of him.

But Ohm just smiled and shook his head, winking at Fluke. "It's a secret Nhoo. But don't worry. You trust me, right?"

"Of course I do, P'Ohm," Fluke sighed. "It would still be nice to know..."

"You'll know soon enough," Ohm sang, pulling Fluke closer before wrapping his arm around Fluke's waist, resting his head on his shoulder. "I love you, Nhoo."

Fluke felt his heart skip a beat and he smiled, giving Ohm a kiss on the forehead before murmuring, "I love you too."

'I love you' has always been something difficult for Fluke to say. He'd suffered far too many heartbreaks in the past that he just found it nearly impossible to utter the phrase. Then Ohm appeared in his life, and that changed things. Even when they were just friends, Ohm would freely say 'I love you' to him whenever he felt like it.

It always made Fluke's heart skip a beat and his cheeks heat up, but he paid that no mind. He just assumed that he meant in a friendly way, and would respond with a simple, 'I know you do, P'Ohm.'

And Ohm accepted that, but he longed for Fluke to reciprocate the words to him.

It took three years and a desperate shoving of Fluke against a locker and smothering of lips for Fluke to finally understand just how much Ohm loved him, and how much he loved Ohm in return. Since then, saying 'I love you' didn't seem so hard anymore, especially not when Ohm still said it so freely, more often now than ever before.

After about ten minutes, the couple arrived at their destination, and Fluke couldn't stop the grin from spreading across his face if he tried. It was the park right by their old high school, the same high school in which, during senior year, Fluke found himself pressed against a locker with Ohm's lips moving frantically, pleadingly against his. There were memories in that high school, some good and some bad, but all the ones involving Ohm were good.

"Are we going into the high school, P'Ohm?" Fluke asked as they stood at the gate, just gazing in.

Ohm shook his head and released Fluke's hand long enough to nimbly climb over the fence and unlock it, letting Fluke in.

"I could've climbed over myself..." Fluke said, shutting the gate behind him.

"But then I wouldn't have been able to show off, Nhoo," Ohm said, smiling sweetly and laughing when Fluke elbowed him.

"Well if we aren't going into the school, Mr. Showoff, then what are we doing here?" Fluke asked, letting Ohm take his hand again.

"We're going to the playground," Ohm said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. It kind of was, since this was the childish Ohm we were talking about, but Fluke still gaped when Ohm pulled him over to the swings.

Removing his jacket dramatically, Ohm draped it over the seat of the swing and pulled Fluke over to sit.

"P'Ohm, these swings are old," Fluke said, nervously sitting down. "What if they break while I'm on them?"

"Then I'll kiss you until you feel better," Ohm replied easily, slowly starting to push Fluke on the swing.

"If you say so," Fluke said, sighing and letting a smile spread across his face as he swung higher and higher until he swore he could reach the tree branches above them, feeling like a little kid once again.

The swing eventually slowed to a halt, and Fluke tilted his head backwards to look at P'Ohm questioningly. Ohm was there, holding Fluke's hands that were holding the swing, and he bent over, kissing Fluke upside down. It was awkward and their tongues were going the wrong way, but it was a kiss between the two of them, so they cherished it and giggled childishly when they pulled apart.

"That was weird," Fluke said, grinning.

"Redo," Ohm said with a nod, coming around the swing so he stood before Fluke, who immediately wrapped his legs around Ohm's waist and pulled him closer.

"Redo," Fluke agreed, wrapping his arms loosely around Ohm's neck and pulling his face down, meeting him in a soft, sweet kiss. It sent shivers down his spine, but he loved it for that, and he was once again amazed by Ohm. It was amazing that after all these years of kissing Ohm, he still got that familiar tingly feeling in his toes and stomach and it still took his breath away, every single time.

"I like kissing you in the rain," Fluke whispered when they pulled apart.

Ohm pouted, his freshly-kissed lips jutting out. "Only in the rain?"

"Of course not," Fluke said, chuckling. "I like kissing you anywhere."
