Fluke isn't a scaredy cat. Things like ghosts and stuff don't scare him, but he does get shocked easily. He just couldn't stand it when there's a loud bang or some sort of sound that just makes him jump in surprise. So whenever they went out camping and the group set out campfire and begam telling ghost stories, he didn't cower and huddled against his friends like the others did. But when said storyteller suddenly did a jump scare a.k.a loudly screaming "BANG!", that sent him flying. In surprise.

In conclusion, those are two very different things, thank you very much.

So when his friends told him they're going to a newly opened haunted house and told him to come along, of course he'd say yes.

"Are you sure about this?" Fluke nearly rolled his eyes at the question from his best friend. Nearly since he's too kindhearted to do that.

"Yeah Coo, I'm sure." He answered, putting on a smile instead. 'Coo's the sassy one, I'm the nice one so I can't go around rolling my eyes at him.'

"But you'll get scared!"

"I don't get scared, I just get surprised."

"Tomayto, tomahto. Same shit Fluke."

That's it! He turned around from the mirror and rolled his eyes at Cooheart who was seated on the bed. "Shut up Coo. Are you coming or not?"

"And risk P'Kao seeing me screaming my lungs out? No thank you. Plus, I need to make him look for me once in a while. I can't always be whoring around wherever he is." The high pitched male said as he checked on his newly manicured nails.

Fluke chuckled. "You've been whoring around him for 2 years, now you think that you want to give him space?" And there it was, Cooheart's infamous glare.

"Whatever! Go!"

Fluke laughed as he dodge the pillow that was thrown in his direction and made his way out of the apartment. Thankfully the ride he called for was already there so he didn't have to wait for too long.

When he arrived at the said location, his friends were already waiting for him outside of the main entrance. He exited the car and waved at them.

"Fluke! We've got the ticket!"

"Oh! Alright." He smiled, his eyes roaming around the group of friends to find that familiar face only to sign in disappointment when he couldn't find it.

'He's not here?'

"He's working. So, he can't make it tonight." Another voice beside him suddenly answered his inner question.

"Au. P'Kao, wadee." He wai-d at the older male with a smile. Kao returned the smile and nodded.

"You came alone?"

Fluke nodded. "Coo's not feeling too well, Phi." He smiled when he noticed the tinge of red that started to appear on the other male's face.

"Well then, it seemed like we're the 9th and 10th wheel tonight." Fluke looked around again and chuckled, indeed, the others were clinging to each other's partner. It was only him and Kao who was alone.

Not that he was in a relationship.

So does P'Kao.

They're literally singles in this couple zone.

"Okay, everybody's here. Let's go!"

"Wait! Who's going to be in front?"

The group discussed who's going to be in the front line and most of the girls quickly huddled together and exclaimed that they're automatically going to be in the middle of the line.
