Things you never expect just happen all of a sudden; whether it be good or bad. I never asked to be born without the ability to see. It just happened. I was born blind. I never asked to meet Ohm Thitiwat either. We happened to meet by an accident, fate. And it was the greatest accident ever.

Friends are a luxury in my life. They come and go as I grow older. However, one decided to stay with me. Yes, that person is Ohm Thitiwat.

Ohm has been my best friend ever since second grade and he never left me. He always stayed by my side and guided me through places when no one else was kind enough to do so. He would always hang out with me whenever I was alone as well. Thanks to him, I didn't have to suffer the pain of being lonely.

Ohm and I grew closer as the years passed. I sort of developed a little crush on him as well. I know it's ironic for a blind person to say this, but I totally saw that coming! Best friends normally develop feelings for each other the closer they become, right? That normal situation happened to me. I fell in love with Ohm and I couldn't stop falling.

As someone with a disability, I kept the feelings to myself. I shouldn't tie Ohm to a person like me. I never hope that he'll return the feeling too. I was fine with my one sided love.

But once again, Ohm proved me wrong.

We were both only eighteen when he finally decided to confess. It was Valentine's day and he was taking me out for a stroll in the park. He had to hold onto me really close because I could probably wander off somewhere and get lost, but I wasn't complaining. When we finally stopped, I felt his warm hands take my cold ones. Even though I couldn't see his facial expression, I knew he was nervous.

"F-F-Fluke~" He stammered. His hands were trembling. Then, Ohm took one of my hands and slammed it on his chest. I remember I tried to stifle a laugh because it was so random~ "D-D-Do you feel this heartbeat?" He asked.

Unsure of which direction he was taking this situation to, I just nodded. "Why?" I asked.

"It only beats for you." Ohm confessed. It was the corniest line I have ever heard in my life, yet it was the sweetest as well.

Following that cheesy line, he gently removed my hand from his chest before whispering the three magical words to me. "I love you." I then felt a pair of soft lips against mine.

We dated for 3 years, and no, we weren't married yet. After being in a relationship with him, I felt like I was at the top of the world. There wasn't anything I needed. He alone completes me.

But Ohm never stops. He kept proving to be the best man in my life. Giving me things I never knew I needed.

It was just a normal Sunday morning when Ohm suddenly said that he's paying for surgery for me that would make me gain the ability to see. I wanted to say that I don't need it, but, who was I kidding? It has always been my wish to be able to see.

It's one of the two things I always wish for during Christmas and my birthday.

I agreed and it wasn't long before the date was set. Ohm never leaves my side for the whole time. And when I finally got to remove the bandage around my eyes, I heard someone clear their voice right next to my bed so I turned my head to the direction of the voice. When I did, I swore I could have died of happiness.

There next to me, was the most gorgeous creature on earth. And the best part? He was down on one knee, ring in hand. "Will you marry me Fluke Natouch?"

For the first time since I can see, my eyes started to fill up with tears and I cried.

This was my second wish. For us to be finally tied together.

"Yes. Yes, Ohm Thitiwat. I will."

Ohm came unexpectedly, but he brings me everything I need in life. I will forever be in love with him.

Forever.
