Despite wearing an expensive summer dress, Kazumi decided to help serve tables and clean the dishes. Once the hosts began their competition, more clients showed up at the cafeteria. A part of her genuinely wanted to assist Haruhi and Misuzu, but the other part was bored out of her mind, and Kyoya wasn't an entertaining company.

Haruhi spotted the bespectacled boy having tea by himself and approached him.

"Kyoya-senpai, you're not going to take part in the game?"

"Yeah. Even if I win, there's really no point in staying alone in this kind of pension. I'll watch this show for a bit. Then I'll go the summer house here."

"Summer house? Your family's, Kyoya-senpai?"

"That's right. Everyone has one in this area." Haruhi sweatdropped. "And about the refreshing competition, who do you think will win, Haruhi? How about a bet?"

"No, thank you. I have no clue at all."

"Really? It's quite easy if you think about it." He smirked. "First, Honey-senpai. Visually, he's more cute than refreshing. So he's out. Tamaki's refreshing if he does nothing, but he's getting way too worked up for this competition. So he appears quite sultry. Just looking at it, the winners should be Hikaru and Kaoru. But, there's a long-shot entry..." He turned his attention to a shirtless Takashi chopping wood.

They watched as Kazumi walked to him and offered a bottle of water. She dried his sweat with a towel as he got hydrated. The scene got even more refreshing as the tallest host looked down to his girlfriend and smiled kindly in gratitude. And Kazumi actually returned the gesture with one of her rare smiles.

"Plus twenty points!" Misuzu squealed.

"So, Mori-senpai? And what's that red spot on his neck? Is he hurt?"

Kyoya kept silent for a moment, pondering his answer. He didn't know if Haruhi was acting stupid on purpose or if it was pure naivety. In any case, it wouldn't be him to spoil his friends' sexual relationship.

"Probably a mosquito bite," he lied. "But, if Honey-senpai drops out of the competition, Mori-senpai will probably quit as well. He's only participating along with him. Furthermore, do you truly believe that Mori-senpai would be away from Kazumi-senpai?"

Haruhi flushed. "I-I mean... They've been together for a little over a month. Don't you think it's too early for them to be sharing a room?"

Kyoya realized that, when it came to Haruhi, the answer was pure naivety.

"So in the end..." Hikaru's voice addressed them.

"... We're the winners," Kaoru decided.

"Ah, I just noticed," Haruhi contemplated. "But the guest room that's available is a single, so the both of you can't stay there."

"Don't worry. We'll bring a bed from our summer house."

"If that's not possible, we'll just find a way to sleep together."
