"As you can see, there are two buttons found in front of you. If you wish to continue playing, press the green button with an O. If you wish to stop playing, then press the red button with the X instead. After you finish voting, move to the other side of the white line and wait." The man with the square-marked mask informs, his voice the same deep tone, loud and clear.

The players are crowded together in one side of the large room, a long white line indicating the middle and splitting off two areas for the players to stand on.

"Voting will be done in reverse order of the numbers on your chests."

The players simultaneously duck to look at the numbers embedded on their outfits, double checking. Y/N perks up at this, her head shooting up from staring at her shoes.

"Player 457, please cast your vote."

Everyone's heads peek over each other's shoulders, trying to see who was identified as said number.

Y/N gulps once all players' attention was on her. She feels all their gazes like lasers pointing through her skull, and she reluctantly walks forwards from her place beside 067.

She stops in front of a podium holding two buttons, staring at them.

There was a green button with an O on the left side from where she stood and a red one with a large X mark on the right.

Gulping again, Y/N raises a hand in front of her.

She hovers it in between the two buttons, tossing her decisions around in her head before she slams her hand on the button in the right. Deep red glows, kissing her cheeks, and a loud buzz was heard.

Up on the screen that loomed over everyone, the number 1 pops up below the large X.

Y/N exhales, slowly stepping away from the podium. She steps on the other side of the white line with her hands in her jacket pockets, and she feels a gaze staring at the side of her head.

She turns her head to the other side of the line filled with nervous players, and she immediately locks eyes with a specific freckled girl.

With widened eyes, Y/N purses her lips out of habit, and 067 keeps her gaze on her for a few more seconds, before tearing her eyes away from her, an unreadable look on her face.

A sudden nudge on her shoulder makes her flinch, and she whips her head to the side. She finds Gi-hun staring at her, eyes flickering in confusion.

She clears her throat, raising an eyebrow towards him.

"What is it?" She asks him.

"Are you okay? You were staring at something." Gi-hun asks, taking a short glance where the girl had been staring earlier, before looking back at her.

"Uh, yeah. I'm okay." Y/N replies, a light blush on her cheeks from getting caught at staring.

Gi-hun nods, turning away from her to face the front, his expression changing as soon as his eyes land at the large screen.

Y/N turns to face the front as well, just in time to see a woman slam her hand on the green button, indicating that she wanted to continue with the games.
