The players enter a wide room with bright— almost blinding— white walls, slowly walking down the white steps while examining the spacious area.

"Players, welcome to the third game. For this game, you will play in teams. All players, please divide yourselves into teams of ten people. Your time limit will be ten minutes. Ten minutes. Let me repeat the instructions." The woman on the PA announces.

Walking ahead was Sang-woo, Ali right behind, followed by 001, Gi-hun, Y/N, and Sae-byeok.

Y/N catches onto 212 waving to 101 from the corner of her eye, and she watches as the thug waves back. An intrigued brow of hers raises.

...Huh.

On one wall, the clock ticks down.

Nine minutes and fourteen seconds.

Y/N and her group settles on a corner, and she leans on the wall beside Sae-byeok.

"Something that has teams of ten players. So maybe it's Tail Tag or Why Did You Come To My House?" Gi-hun conspires with Sang-woo, and the latter breathes out a small sigh.

"Tail Tag means running is involved. Or it might just end up being simply based on luck." Gi-hun continues.

"What do you think?"

Sang-woo inhales deeply.

"Our team already has two girls and an older guy. I'm thinking we better get more men first."

Y/N turns to him with a raised brow, and Ali and 001 stay quiet, listening.

"What if they make us play Gonggi or Elastics? Then, what do we do? Girls are usually the good ones at that—" Gi-hun starts to say, but gets cut off.

"That's true, but when it really comes down to it, usually men are better. It's our lives we're betting on right now. And we gotta win." Sang-woo states, and Y/N pokes her cheek with her tongue as she listened.

Really, huh?

Gi-hun slowly inhales and exhales, not saying anything more.

"Four more people are needed. I see that we each bring one guy to join us."

Sang-woo turns to Ali and 001.

"Okay?"

Ali lightly nods. 001 doesn't respond, only looking down. Sang-woo then turns Y/N, but she just stares at him with a raised brow. He turns away.

Gi-hun nods as well, and Sae-byeok quickly walks off. Y/N frantically looks at her retreating back, and quickly shuffles along, catching up to her.

"Can I come with?" Y/N asks Sae-byeok, but the girl doesn't respond, only glancing at her before walking off in a slower pace. Y/N grins.

"I'll take that as a yes." Y/N says, following her.

Players loudly chatter as they strategize and talk about what the next game could be. Red guards with triangles on their masks stood still above them on platforms.

After a few minutes of Y/N following Sae-byeok like a clingy puppy, Sae-byeok walks up the stairs, her eyes landing on a female player sat on the top, fiddling with her fingers. Y/N peeks over her shoulder as she notices Sae-byeok stop in her steps, and she catches the girl on the stairs as well, her eyes lighting up as they finally found someone they could invite to join their group.
