I took a minute to look at the gate of school,reminiscing the first day I started. The memories is still fresh in me and I just can't get tired of the friendly atmosphere. I see the sun rise over the horizon,ironically informing me that I could shine as bright.

I grip the hand of my bag,smiling effortlessly as I walk in. I could already people pointing fingers at and referring to me as 'Thirsty'. They are quite right,I'm currently thirsty and craving for some vanilla ice cream.

I strolled down to the kiosk and got a cup filled with vanilla ice cream before heading to class.

"Korah..hey". Evan held me back. I didn't seem to see him standing in front of his class.

"Evan..hey. You're quite early today". I smile at him.

He let my hand slowly,looking nervously at me. "I'm so sorry Korah". His voice has a way of making words perfect. "I had to take care of something,coming back to people saying all sort of things".

I press my lips,looking straight at him with ease. "Well..about me living in an Orphanage home is actually true". I said.

Evan still looks bothered. "I heard Trevor-"
"Trevor took me away,he kind of saved me I'd say". I completed before he could finish. "So don't feel bad".

He nod,searching my eyes for negativity. "I'll make it up to you".

I chuckle. "What a gentle guy you are".
"I'm serious Korah. I feel so bad about what happened".

I exhale quickly. "Okay...but you really don't have-" My face swift left to see Tatiana standing some feet back before I could complete my words.
"Hey". I heard her mouth move.

Evan followed my eyes to see who caught my attention. "Tatiana". He calls,waving at her.
She quickly smile to his wave,coming closer.

It sparked to me immediately that Tatiana is not happy seeing me and Evan talk. I could see it all over her face like I'm taking something she has been treasuring for years. I better tell her soon that we are just friends,nothing more.

"I saw your text yesterday, Korah". She said then turned to Evan. "I didn't get the chance to tell you yesterday because you were preoccupied. Happy birthday Evan".

Tatiana is trying to over the fact that she really cares about him because from Evan's side,I can tell he only sees her as a friends..I guess.

"I'm sorry..a lot came up and I couldn't even enjoy my own party". Evan explains as the holes in his face became deeper due to his smile.

"It's okay..really. It was fun and i enjoyed it". Tatiana said.

How come I didn't notice this on time?,it has been there the whole time that she likes him.

"Uh..I have to take something from my locker". I said,walking away.

Evan's face was full of questions.
"Okay,see you in class". I heard Tatiana as I walk away.

If only I noticed earlier. I can't imagine how bad Tatiana has always felt seeing me and Evan after all she has done for me. The least I can do is try to make her happy rather than weighing her down.

I didn't need anything from my locker,I just had to let Evan and Tatiana talk without me pock nosing.

Seating in class alone, I turned back to his seat and Trevor's image came to my head.

Damn!

I forgot to bring his clothes today,which I already packed neatly into a shopping bag.

"Dawn..hey". I said to Dawn who just walked in.
She froze. "Me? Oh..hey".

This is the first time I'm talking to her so I'm not surprised by her reaction.
"How are you doing?".

"Umm..fine,I'm doing perfectly fine". Dawn answered, still astonished. "Uh..Is anything wrong with you today,no offence".

I laugh loudly,shaking my head. "What do you mean?,I'm hundred Percent normal".

"I don't think so". She came towards me,placing her hand on my forehead. "Looks like you were drugged to talk to me".

"Nope! I. Am. Not. Drugged". I giggle,holding her hands.

"That's good. I'm just bewildered".
"You don't have to be Dawn,we're cool". I declare,finally stopped laughing.

Trevor's scent took over the class the second he walked in with his hands in his pocket.
"Good morning Trevor". Dawn left me,following him to his seat.

I press my lips,folding my hands to my stomach and going to my seat. Luckily for me, Dawn is not in my seat but facing Trevor, standing akimbo.

"Can you please leave me the fuck alone?". Trevor snapped, making Dawn step back,blinking her eyes as she watch him block his ears with earphones.

She look heartbroken. I don't usually flow with Dawn but I currently feel bad for her.

Why is he so cold...

Dawn ran out of the class in tears. Glancing back at Trevor, he didn't seem to look remorseful at all.
I took a deep breath then turned to him. "Hi Trevor".

He took off his his earphones to hear me clearly.
"Umm..I forgot to take your clothes, I'll bring it over after school".

He nods. "It's okay"
I instantly faced front. Why is so hard to say a word to him without feeling nervous.

Classes went on smoothly. I noticed Tatiana looked more happy today,I'm glad I helped even if she doesn't know.

"I have to get to Silicon estate before going to work". I explained to Tatiana while we walk down the walkway.
"Oh..okay. But won't you be late?".

"That's why I have a friend like Bernard". I brag,feeling safe. "I'll call and tell him".
"You know..I'd really love to see this Bernard of yours".

I shrug,twisting my mouth. "He's quite attractive too".
Tatiana laughed out loud. "Damn..can't wait!".

I sighted Trevor and Evan entered their car still looking perfect in their uniform...
