I would stare at the necklace on my neck any time I get a chance. It's simple and stunning.
"Mum, I need to take my laptop for repair". I told Ma Diane while helping her with the dishes.

"What happened to it?".

"I don't know..it just won't come on and I kind of..need it". I explain,arranging the plates on the rack.
"Alright then. I just hope it won't cost too much". She said,taking her sleeves up.
I exhale sharply. "Me either".

We finished earlier than expected so I went to rest for sometime. Resting my hand above my head for support, I use my right hand to romance the necklace. It makes me feel like Trevor is present with me.

I roll over to check the flash drive. If only my laptop didn't choose to fuck up at the time. I just can't wait to see what's in it.

"Aunt Korah,please help me with my hair". Jody,my four year old sister pleaded. We are all siblings here in the orphanage home.
"Sure,come here". I collected the band to pack her hair in two buns.

I packed my laptop in my school bag and stroll down to the road to get it fixed.
"Good evening". I greeted cheerfully.
"Hey..how can I help you?".

"Uh..I'd like you to help me check this". I brought out my laptop carefully. "It's not coming on".
He took it from me gently,looking at it like some magician.

After some minutes of thorough check, he turned back to me.
"I'll need to change something on it,you may come back in a week". He advise.
I nod slowly,blowing my cheeks out. "Alright then". I accepted and walked out.

Heading back home,the memories of me and Trevor slides in. I couldn't help smiling on my way even though people looked at me like a weirdo.
If only they knew how special and dreamy that moment was.

My made a sound and I deep in my hand to bring it out from my jean.
Checking my WhatsApp group chat,I saw our exams timetable posted.

Our session of reading..Argh

It crossed my mind to call Tatiana and Dawn so we would read together. I pray they accept.

I stopped at the mall to get some snacks and vanilla ice cream which I love.

An hour later,I had a horn from my room,checking out to see my friends parking properly in front of my house.
Tatiana sure is a good driver.
"Hey...". Dawn greeted the kids around,sharing sweets for them after the consent of Ma Diane.
"You guys should line up in so you'll all get one". Dawn instructs, smiling brightly.

It's so exciting to see my friends playing with my siblings.

"Korah". Tatiana lifts her face to see me standing by the door.
I walk to her,holding her in a hug. "Thanks".
"It was all Dawn's idea,but you are welcome". Tatiana taps my head like a ten year old.

We all went to my room after Dawn was done sharing what she brought for the kids.
"Wow..it's so cute". Tatiana comment,looking around.

"Although I share it with Stephanie". I added,seating on my bed.
"It's nice and..arranged". Tatiana said.
Come on,I've been to Tatiana's room and its nothing compared.

"So..I saw our exams timetable on the group". I started,strolling through my phone.
"Yeah..I saw it too". Dawn said in a low voice,her face suddenly dull. "I don't think I'm ready".

I laugh at her face. "After promising your mom to score high?".
She press her lips together. "My mom knows it's no possible".
Me and Tatiana burst into laughter.

"Come to me". I open my hands wide. "I'll be your guard".
"Says Korah Jokshan who was taking it deep with Trevor the other day". Tatiana chuckles.
I froze,trying to stop blushing.
"We saw you Korah". Dawn smirks.

"You've not really told us what happened Korah".
Tatiana seats close to me,tucking her hands in mine.
"Yeah..tell us". Dawn folds her hands.
"Uh..you girls know I didn't you here to talk about Trevor right?". I said, stretching my hands to get my books closer.

"Yeah..but he came up and we can't leave it". She rolls her eyes.
"What about you Dawn,you were all over Bernard". I said.
"We. Are. Not. Talking. About. Bernard". Dawn said clearly, her face turning red.
"I could help you Dawn,me and Bernard are pretty... Close". I boost,I'm good with stuffs like this.
"You know what,let's just read our books". She drags my textbook and started flipping through the pages.

Tatiana just stare at us from where she's seating.

We read for up to three hours,taking breaks to eat snacks. Glancing over my Tatiana and Dawn,the feeling of love flows through me. I just love the fact that we are together, and get along no matter what.

"I'm so tired". Tatiana yawns widely as we all went outside.
"Learn to close your mouth. Do you want to swallow me?". Dawn frowns
"If I can,I will". Tatiana said, giggling.

"See you tomorrow.. " They wave at me before driving off.
I smile brightly, waving back till they are out of sight.

I walk back to my room,still blushing to myself.
"You have nice friends,Korah". One of Ma Diane's assistant,Maria said.
I nod,holding the staircase handle. "I think so too".
"I didn't know they are still people like them. They played with the kids so well,not every rich kid would do that". Maria laments.

"Guess I was destined to meet people like them for a reason". I said. "Umm..Is there anything you'd like me to help you with?".
Maria shakes her head. "No..not at all. You can go and rest".

She watch me race up the stairs to my room. Ma Diane is also destined with good people around her.

I took up my phone from my bed and saw a message.

Trevor; Make sure to study for the exams. Let's make a bet. Come out first and I'll grant any wish you want and vice versa.

I giggle, reading the message over and over again. A bet? I'm in. I quickly tap the reply button.

Me; Sure,I'm in. I won't take it lightly with you so be prepared.

I threw my phone to the bed,smiling and going to take a shower.

Some minutes, I hurried out at the buzz of my phone.

Trevor; Me either😏

I laugh loudly at the emoji he added to the text. I low key want him to come first so I'd hear his wish. At the same time,I want to come first so he'd grant mine.

My wish would be for him to sing for me, I'd love to hear his voice and see his expression...
