Trevor has been absent for three days now. If I say I'm not bothered,I'd be lying. Anytime I glance at my bandaged palm,I reminisce all that happened. Mrs Rodanim informed us today that he travelled but will be back soon.
Tatiana and Dawn asked how I got injured but my replies remained the same.

I got burnt.

My thought marinated in disappointment seeing Trevor that way. He's perfect on the outside, no one would believe that he actually takes Cocaine.
"Let's go to the cafeteria". Dawn stood in my front,interrupting my thoughts.
"Oh..sure, let's wait for Tatiana". I said.
Me and Dawn has gotten pretty close in these few days. Although, I don't get to hear her whining to Trevor since he isn't present.

The three of us walked to the cafeteria like triplets.

I've been avoiding Evan for the past two days,I haven't spoken to him since I ran out of his house.
I just don't have the confidence to face him.I'm sure he'd want to know what happened between me and Trevor.

"Korah". Dawn tapped the table. "You've not touched your food,you look bothered by something".
I blink fast,coming back to reality. "No..I'm not".
Tatiana drops her fork. "Are you sure?, you know you can tell me anything right?".
I nod in affirmation, smiling as I took a sip of juice.
"Me too Korah,you can tell me anything". Dawn pour out.

"Sorry,who are you?". Tatiana asked. The both of them finds it hard to get along.
I just laugh at their drama.
"I'm Dawn. Dawn Dion! Future wife of Trevor Bingham. Just watch,I'll be called Dawn Bingham Dion soon".
My heart skipped at the mention of his name.
Tatiana busted into a loud laugh. "You are hilarious Dawn, just forget it. You and Trevor, It's a big No".
Dawn frowned. She's just too cute wit her acts
"I won't brag. Just watch and see". She said, taking a gulp of her strawberry drink.

I am happy,at the same time, not. Not matter how hard I try not think about it,it just comes in
"Do you think Trevor is okay?". I finally voice out.
Dawn and Tatiana turn to me,looking astonished.
"Look who's asking of Trevor". Tatiana giggles.
"I'm serious though". I said, looking at them.
"We are just surprised you asked of him". Dawn shrugs.

"Mrs Rodanim didn't give any of us details about him". Tatiana said.
"Alright". I let out a sigh,walking ahead of them.
They both pause to look at me before running to meet me.

"Korah,I have an audio of Trevor singing, if you are interested". Dawn said. I guess she pity me to at least,let me hear his voice.
"Thanks Dawn, please send it to me".

I brought out my headphones to listen to Trevor's voice. I know he's in Performing department but I haven't heard him sing.

My heart sank in bliss and tranquility as I listen to him sing, 'In a breath' by New Empire. I've heard the song a couple of times but hearing him sing it just hits different. The image of how tensed he looked flashed back but this time, I won't wave it away.

I want to understand instead...

"Bring out your textbook,everyone". Our English teacher announced, alerting me to stop what I'm doing.
I feel my eyes teary as I pull out my earphones. I wiped my eyes quickly, stuffing it into my bag.
Tatiana glanced at me with concern. I just smile at her,ensuring I'm okay.

I don't think I am...

I'm not usually like this. It's all coming out against my will.

"I'll get going. See you guys tomorrow". I force a smile to Tatiana and Dawn who are waiting for their drivers.
"You seriously look moody,Korah". Tatiana said as she cuddles me. "I don't know what exactly is bothering you but please lighten up".

"Sure..I will". I answered,taking a deep breath as I sniff in the nice scent of her perfume.

So comforting.

They watched as I walked out of the gate. I could tell they are really bothered but I can't seem to point out exactly why.

Apart from Trevor been on my mind.

"Korah". I turn to see Evan standing outside the gate.
"Oh..Evan,I'm sorry I didn't see you".

I honestly didn't see him.

"Yeah..because you were so deep in thought".
Evan looks like he has been waiting for quite sometime. He must have noticed I'm avoiding him and decided to stop me himself.

"Not really...". I lied,waving my hair from my face. "Um..were you waiting for someone?".
"Yeah,you. You've been avoiding me for some days now so I had to wait,just to see you". He explains.
I press my lips together, looking around but not to him.

"Trevor told me what happened between you two". Evan started.
"How is he?". I asked immediately.

"You seem really bothered about him. How is your palm?".
I glanced at my bandaged palm then back to him.
"It's fine". "Tevor is currently going through a hard time but he'll be back tomorrow".

Does this mean Evan knows that his brother takes Cocaine?

My face lightened up. "Thank you so much,Evan".
He shows his dimples. "You are welcome".
I have a lot of questions to ask but I don't want to want involved, yet.
"So..are you waiting for your driver here?".
"Not really..I'll just walk with you". Evan suggests.

And then get my hair pulled by jealous girls??

"It's okay,you don't have to". I said,resting on one leg.
"I insist. Let's go". He walked away,hoping for me to follow.
I laugh softly,walking to meet him.

A sudden sound of a honking horn pulls my attention to a car racing in our direction.

I didn't realize I was so close to the road,and Evan grips my arm and pull me over to his side. My chest bump into his,as the speeding car scrapes the sidewalk during it's passing.

"Be careful Korah, what are you thinking of?". He ask in a low voice.

I bring my eyes up to look at him. His height is as obvious contrast to my short stature. His palms are on my shoulders and our faces are less than an inch away.

"You okay?". Evan asks. Concernment is laced in his tone as he attempts to catch sight of my crimson face.
I blink my eyes as I pull away,averting my gaze elsewhere. I nod but can't bring myself to look at him.

"Korah...look at me". Evan requests,tilting his head to get my face.
I bury my face in my palms,taking a deep breath. "What is wrong is Trevor?, I mean...Is he really okay?".
Evan took my hands from my face slowly. "Trevor acts like that at times which he really regret later".

I look at him to continue.
"He hate anyone seeing him that way and he hates himself more acting strange. You'll get to see him tomorrow".

"Thanks Evan". I let out a sigh.

We parted as soon as we got to the bus stop. He took a taxi back home while I boarded a bus to Emirates hotel. I tell Bernard everything,I hope I'd be able to reveal this...
