chapter twenty nine

"Are you really not going with us, Ryouma chan?" Yuuri chan asked as I laid in bed. The girls, Kominato amd Mabuchi kun were going out and look around the city. Even Harumi san was going, I think. "Are you sick?"

"My head hurts." I complained. It barely even hurts. I just didn't want to go anywhere. It was worse earlier, since Sugawara kept following me around during the entire day. He talks so much. Harumi san has also been keeping Mabuchi kun to herself, and would give me terrifying glares when I would get close.

"Do you want anything? You might be getting sick. I can go ask for an icepack-"

"It's fine. You girls go have fun, and tell the boys I'm sorry." I said. As if it'd matter anyways, Mabuchi kun and Harumi san have been together all day. Was this how they were last year? "If I feel any better, I might go join you guys."

"Okay. Hope you feel better. If you want to vomit or anything, call us okay? Bye Ryouma chan!" Futaba chan said as the girls left.

After they left, I sat up. It was currently 6:30 in the evening. Why does Harumi san have to be here? I don't understand- And to choose my group? To think, having Sugawara was bad enough.

As I sat thinking, my phone rang. It was Maru. I didn't need to look at my caller id- I had Sakura Kiss from Ouran High School Host Club as his ringtone.

"Hello?" I answered. "What do you need Maru?"

"Ryouma? It's Suga-"

"I'm hanging up." I said immediately.

"No! Please don't!" He exclaimed.

"What do you want?" I asked. "Why are you calling on Maru's phone?"

"I knew you wouldn't give me your phone number if I asked, so I thought it'd be better to call you on Ryuu's phone-"

"What do you want?" I repeated.

"I heard from Makita san that you didn't go out them right?" He asked.

"Yes, and?"

"I was wondering if you want to hang out for the night? There's a movie theater-"

"No thank you." I declined. "I have a headache."

"Oh! Do you want me to come over and bring you a-"

"I suggest you don't." I interrupted. He reminds me so much of Miko senpai.

"Well, do you want to hang out-"

"No."

As I said no, I heard a knock on the door. It was probably one of the girls. Did they leave their room key?

"Hold on, there's someone knocking." I said as I went to open the door. Sugawara didn't respond, so I assumed he probably hung up. I didn't care. The person kept knocking. "Give me a minute."

I looked up at the person standing before me.

"Hi Ryouma-"

I slammed it shut, and locked all the locks. "Go away, Sugawara."

"But you're here all alone-"

"Go away, Sugawara."

"Come on Ryouma-"

"It's Kazehaya san to you."

"I just want to hang out Ryouma." He whined. He's so persistent. 

This guy is too determined. I should take a walk, I could use the fresh air. I took my room key and slipped it into my pocket.

I opened the door and faced him. He seemed surprised when I opened the door. "I'm going to go for a walk."
