I had been out of school for two days after that. It felt weird, returning to school after experiencing something that dreadful. Well, we've all had low moments in our life. And this is probably that moment again for me. Even before, during and after the funeral, I still haven't cried. I haven't found the right time to yet.

On the brighter side of things, I saw my mom again. I don't know, she just seems a little alien to me now. I can't recall how long it's been, but when I see her I always forget that she raised me up until my first year of junior high. It's almost like I didn't know who she was, unlike before.

"Ryouma senpai!" Someone called from down the hall. School's just begun, and I'm dead tired. Can't I be left alone? "Hey Ryouma senpai!"

Beside me was the first year from before, the one with the black hair remember? His name was Himatori Yoh. Himatori, I think he has an older brother named Sora right? If they are brothers, they're totally alike. "Morning." I yawned. He looks so pumped up.

"Have you seen Daichi?" He asked excitedly. I shook my head no. "I have something amazing to tell him!"

"Okay." I said, unfascinated.

"Don't you want to know what it is?" He pouted and asked in an annoyed tone.

"No." I shook my head.

"And I thought you were lively." He sighed, then I noticed he glance to the left of me a little. "There's a first year staring at you."

"There is?" I turned around and saw a boy peeking out from the corner. It was that shy first year with the purple eyes. I still haven't caught his name quite clearly. "Oh him."

"Well, I'm going to go. You're no help senpai!" He stuck out his tongue and went along his day. He definitely has to be Himatori senpai's younger brother.

When he left, I went to talk to Purple Eyes kun. That would be what I called him until I learned his name. He seems like a really nice boy, I wonder what kind of friends he had.

"Good morning!" I smiled at him. "I hope you still remember me. I don't know if I introduced myself or not, but I'm Kazehaya Ryouma. How's high school? It's hard isn't it? Don't worry, it gets easier as you go along. If anything seems to be bothering you, I'm here to help, okay?"

He and I walked through the hallways as I talked to him. Even though I rambled on and on, he looked really interested in everything I said. "Well, I should be going, have a good day kouhai!" I told him with a smile. As I began to leave, he caught on to my arm. "Oh?"

"Thank you!" He bursted, surprising me a little. So that's how his voice sounds like! "I'm sorry for never answering you, I'm not good with talking to people. I'm Harumi Ando, and I'm in your brother's class."

"Harumi?" I've heard that name before. Harumi.. "Are you by chance Harumi Nao's younger brother?"

"Yes." He nodded. Wow, that's surprising. Harumi senpai is so plain, and Ando kun is so.. Not.

"Wow, really? You're so adorable!" I commented. That seemed to make him blush red. "Sorry, that didn't mean to slip out of my mouth."

"It's fine." He smiled. He's like a boy version of Makita chan. "We should be heading to class now."

"Oh, you're right." I nodded. I waved goodbye. "Bye Ando kun!"

"Kazehaya!" I heard the boys from my class call when I walked in.

"Where you've been?" Satoshi asked as I hung my bag on my desk. I saw Mabuchi kun, Makita chan, Murao san and Yoshioka san near the window. I felt their eyes on me, but pretended not to notice. "You weren't in school for two days."
